MEYER-MILLER TEAM WINS ENTIRE SET
The combination of Meyer-Miller was one too many for the MartinKing due at the City alleys last night when the former took the two-man challenge sets in straight heats. R. FRATERNAL LEAGUE INTERESTS CLUBS
In case the proposed fraternal Sun
day morning baseball league goes through and it is altogether probable that it will a number of the city's speediest amateur clubs will make application for admission. The Knights o( Columbus, which order will take the initiative, will discuss the question tonight. ' With a favorable report from the Kaysee athletic committee steps will at once be taken to effect the league organization. The Y, M. I.
K.-C. PIN MEN PLAN BANQUET
At a special meeting of members of the Knights of Columbus Bowling league Friday night of this week, date for the season's climax the annual banquet and love feast will be set and plans discussed. The Kaysee banquet and love feast is a K. C. institution, and members of the pin circuit are making big preparations for the formal closing event of the 1916 season.

Now that the Seeders have closed their regular season and the Kaysees find themselves in the same predicament, peace, for a short time at least, doesn't seem to appeal to the ring leaders of the opposing factions. Hence the Seeder-Kaysee series of challenge games to be started at the City alleys Wednesday night. Six rounds is the time limit of the setto, and the second batch of games will be rolled at the "Y" alleys later in the week. Personnel of the teams to figure in the combats have not been announced.

UNKNOWN ASSAILANT FLEES AFTER BEATING CAMBRIDGE RESIDENT
CAMBRIDGE CITY, Ind., April 4. As Kersey Huffman, who resides north of town, was returning home about 8 o'clock Saturday evening, turned north -from Main on Jones street, he was met by a stranger, who without warning struck him and gave him a violent kick in the region of the stomach, and made his escape, running south on Jones street Mr. Huffman suffered considerably during the evening from the effects of the assault. BOOK LITERARY MEET
Richmond will have the chance to "come-back" at the Liberty high school track squad now that Coach Nohr has secured May 6, for a dual meet between the two schools. Last year Richmond high journeyed to Liberty and suffered the humiliation of a 48 to 22 defeat. Richmond was handicapped at that time because all the older members of the team were out of the meet. With the strongest team available this year, R. H. S. looks forward to a "come-back" at the expense of L. H. S.
STEEN SHOOTS DOGS
Sheriff Steen was called to kill several dogs owned by residents of Roscoe street and Fairview avenue Monday afternoon. The dogs were reported as acting queerly and it was feared
that the epidemic of rabies had spread
outside the city. Both Roscoe street and Fairview avenue are outside the city limits and under the jurisdiction of the sheriff rather than the police.

The Philomath literary - society, which Is made up of alumni of the St. Andrews Parochial School, is planning to give some short plays immediately after Easter. At present the society is studying subjects that have to do with political science. A special study of Shakespeare and his works will be made in the near future.

OPEN TICKET SALE FOR FACULTY. DUEL
Tickets for the Faculty-Varsity high school basketball battle, to be staged at the "Y" Thursday afternoon at 4 o'clock, were placed on sale today. A Bethlehem demand for the coupons insures the financial success of the conflict. And aside from the financial side of the deal, the clash promises to be a success in other ways, too. Rules and regulations to govern, the game have been finally agreed upon. They are: James Harrington, and not Principal Pickell, shall referee the match. The Varsity shall use only five men at a time. Faculty restriction is seven. Time of the first half shall be 124 minutes. The second half, as long as the Faculty lasts.
