Heavy damage was Inflicted on British industrial establishments by Zeppelin airships that raided the east coast of England Saturday night, the German admiralty announced today. Hates Chickens and Cows too, Tells Reasons "I hat the cows and chickens," said Mrs. Ettie Edwards of 310 Mill street, Lockland, O.. in paraphrase of a popular song of the cabarets. "I have lived on eggs and milk for so long that I Just can't look at a hen or a cow with friendly eyes," she explained laughingly. "When one's diet is restricted to the products of our friends of the barnyard for weeks and then months, it is like suddenly stepping into a little paradise of content to find all of the Rood things of former days back on your own bill of fare." Mrs. Edwards' story will hold Interest for thousands of men and women who would welcome, as she did, freedom from a diet. "I have long been a sufferer from stomach trouble," she explained. "I paid in. pain for every meal I ate. There was the daily backache that appeared soon after breakfast, and stayed for lunch and supper. My sleep, after the hours of suffering, was broken and gave me no real rest. I had no energy, was tired all the time, and lire was just long days of discontent. "in the hope of improving I began the diet of boiled milk and boiled eggs. And I was faithful. For weeks I kept this diet and I did improve some under it. but I was not being cured,- I realized. "Now my stomach is a great deal better. I can eat almost anything without ill effects. I am too thankful to depart from plainly cooked food yet, however. But my appetite is good, my eleep is sound and refreshing, and ray housework is no longer an Irritating, difficult task. "The reason? I have taken Tanlac. the Master Medicine. So why should I hesitate to recommend it to any one or every one who suffers as I did?" Throughout the country there are more than 1.000,000 people who will say, as does Mrs. Edwards, that there is no medicine that acts so favorably on ailments of the stomach, liver and kidneys or satarrhal offectlons, or is so good a tonic, appetizer and invigi orant as Tanlac. which is now being introduced in Richmond at Thistlethwaite's drug stores. Tanlac may -be obtained in the following near-by Ohio cities: New Paris. E. M. Kessler; Eldorado, O. H. Mastln; New Madison, Thomas Ewbank; Eaton, Lake Drug Co.; Camden, j. H. REID DOUBTS RIGHT TO ASK UNION WORK "The state board of education ' has no right to dictate . whether school books are made in union or non-union typographical shops, and I think that if would not go on record as -granting special favors to either, at least, I wouldn't," said Pettis A. Reid, a member of. the state board, this morning concerning a conference last night with Edward A. Barry, representing the International Typographical union. Mr. Barry, with several others, is visiting members of the state board of education endeavoring to influence them to purchase text books printed in Should Not Feel Discouraged. So many people troubled with indigestion and constipation have been benefitted by taking Chamberlain's Tablets that no one should feel discouraged who has not given them a trial. They contain no pepsin or other digestive ferments but strengthen the stomach and enable it to perform its functions naturally. Obtainable everywhere. Adv. Palladium Want Ads. Pay. GENUINE 99
