Dr. Arthur .Warren Waite, as he looked upon his graduation from the university and his brother-in-law, Percy Peck, who started the investigation leading to the arrest of Dr. Waite. A formal charge of murder in the first degree will be placed against Dr. Arthur Warren Waite, the New York dentist accused of poisoning his wealthy father and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John E. Peck, in his apartment in Riverside Drive. The investigation started by Percy S. Peck, son of the dead man and woman, has led to startling revelations. Percy Peck is of the opinion that Waite planned a wholesale murder of his wife's family in order to gain the fortune of his father-in-law.

CITY WASTES LAND DECLARES LEONARD

No definite word has been -received by Prof. H. J. Leonard, head of the local industrial, survey, who recently wrote to the agricultural department asking for an expert, at the expense of the government, to study the local situation regarding home gardening. Prof. Leonard said today that he is still hopeful that the department will furnish an expert. "There is much ground-in the city that is going to waste that might be made to yield a small profit," said Prof. Leonard.

Zemo for .Dandruff

You do not want a slow treatment when hair is falling and the dandruff Jrm is killing the hair roots. Delay means no hair. (Jet, at any drug store, a bottle of zemo for 25c or $1.00 for extra large 6ize. Use as directed, for it does the work quickly. It kills the dandrufif germ, nourishes the hair roots and immediately stops itching scalp. It is sure and safe, is not greasy, is easy to use and will not stain. Soaps and shampoos are harm-. fu. as they contain alkali. The best thing to use is zemo, for it is pure and also inexpensive. . . - . -Zemo. Cleveland.

"Dry cleaning at home is all the rage here, says a well-known downtown druggist. Any woman can do five dollars' worth of dry cleaning at home at : very, little cost by dissolving two ounces of solvite in two gallons of gasoline; then. immerse the articles to be cleaned; rub a little, and in a few moments, the gasoline evaporates and the articles cleaned look as bright and fresh as new. Dry clean your own silk waists, dresses, ribbons., belts, kid gloves', satin shoes, evening slippers, fine laces, net work, woolens, dresses, children's coats, furs, veils, neckties, shawls, gentlemen's garments, fancy vests, lace curtains, rugs, in fact, everything 'that -would be ruined by washing with soap and water. Nothing will fade, shrink or' wrinkle, making pressing unnecessary.Dry cleaning at home is inexpensive and effects a tremendous saving in the household and is really just as easy as laundering. Any druggist will sell two ounces of solvite which is simply a gasoline soap and your grocer or a garage will supply the gasoline. Then the outfit. As gasoline is very inflammmable. be sure to do your cleaning out of doors or in a room away a wash boiler or dishpan completes from fire or flame, with the windows left open.

unusually smart plaid sport coat. The

cut. of the coat features a raglan fleeve and hood back, which provrs an odd combination. The plaid is in black and -white and the lining and pipings are of green" taffeta.

simple earnestness that compels at-j

"In the work of the church," he said, "failure after failure has been recorded when ever condition of success seemed present except faith, and at. other" times marvelous success has come when the only favorable condition was confidence in God. ' When , Peter said to the lame man, 'Silver and gold have I none, but such as I have give I unto thee," he was not offering something of less value. than the money the poor man had asked, but something of infinitelymore value. It was something he had to give because of hia faith in God."

Improves your skin while cleansing it Almost any soap will clean the skin and hair. Many toilet soaps, are pure enough to do so without injuring these delicate textures. But those who want a soap which not only cleanses but actually helps the complexion and hair are wise to choose Resinol Soap. The soothing, healing properties of Resinol enable it to protect the skin and scalp from annoying eruptions, keep the complexion clear, and tli e hair rich and lustrous. This, soaps which are merely pure and cleansing cannot be expected to do. When the skin is in bad condition, through neglect or an unwise use of cosmetics, spread on just a little Resinol Ointment for ten or fifteen minutes before using Resinol Soap. Resinol Soap and Ointment are sold by all druggists. -
