M., in which six American soldiers and nine troopers were murdered, the civilians of the town, for the most part ranchers and railroad men, organized themselves into a "home guard" fearing a repetition of the raid. While the U. S. soldiers are searching for Villa and his band in Mexico, these men are standing guard over their homes.

The most wonderful and bewildering array of motor propelled
vehicles ever witnessed outside of Chicago and New York.

. waistline proves the exception In these days of distended, bouffant and hoop effects, for, with the latter tendencies, It follows that the waistline must be snug and trim. However, such an exception proves rather an Interesting change, especially when so many of the details afford suggestions for further development. The self-colored embroidery, the hish collar and leg-'o-mutton sleeves are usual details.
