CLAY CITIZENS CONTEST PERRY LONGEVITY DATA
GREENSFORK, Ind., March 20. Clay township has an enviable record for longevity, says Thomas Gunckle, who has gone to the trouble of compiling a list of "persons who have passed the seventy-year mark. Their combined ages, he announces, will pass 4,260 years. Thirteen persons In this list have seen four score years pass by and hope to live to be ninety. Mr. Gunckle's tabulation is an answer to the one recently compiled by Nathan Edwards of Economy. The average age of the fifty-six persons In the

FIRST RECRUIT FROM RICHMOND OFF TO FRONT
Reko Boyer of Cambridi City was the first applicantJTass successfully examinations at the new local recruiting station under Sergeant F. D. Bond. Boyer left at 7:40 o'clock this morning' for Columbus. Ohio, wiiere he will undergo three weeks' training in the camp there and then be dispatched to the Mexican border, . assigned to General Frederick Funston's command. be kept open from 8 o ciock A- m. until 9 o'clock P. M. each day including Sundays. The station has been established In rooms 305-306 Union National bank building. From that point the recruiting officer is distributing literature and pamphlets containing information on army life.
