"I take no 6tock in the idea that Villa is regarded as a hero and will gather fresh strength as the result of the presence of United States soldiers" south of the border." Five hundred Mexican soldiers, apparently Pima Indians, who came up from the interior of Sonora to Naco Wednesday, broke camp early today and marched eastward. They have been reported along the border and
presumably they took the road that

NOMINATE WATSON TO INSURE SUCCESS, CANDIDATE ARGUES
Harry Brown, a 'timber buyer and farmer of Waterloo, candidate for the Republican nomination as state treasurer, gave out a statement in this city today In which he said he believed that Jim Watson should be nominated for United States senator in the race to elect a successor to the." late Senator Shively. Mr. Brown, on his way to Indianapolis, stopped off between grains. The candidate believes that Watson has many loyal friends in Indiana whose
support is needed for Republican success this fall. He believes refusal to nominate Watson will alienate many of his old supporters and cause a
split in the party. They are agitating the question' of digging a canal along the south shore of Long island, Evidently there isn't water, enough around Long island to satisfy them.
