Howard Berry of the University of Pennsylvania essays to grab the pentathlon honors .at the big relay games at Philadelphia for the second time in April he wjll again find a worthy rival in the person of Harry Worthington, the great all-round athlete from Dartmouth College. - That Worthington is going to be in phenomenal shape this spring was demonstrated at Buffalo February 12, when running the second relay for Dartmouth against the Seventy-fourth Regiment team, he flashed 220 yards in the great time of 22 2-5 seconds.
The annual fire loss of this country amounts to $2 each inhabitant.

HAGERSTOWX, Ind., Feb. 23. Forty neighbors surprised Mr. and Mrs. H W. Keagy at their home 6iv Washington street, in Hagerstown, last evening. ! The guests brought wall-filled baskets and celebrated Washington's birthday. After dinner the evening was .spent with contests. Mrs. John Teeter excelled in the story telling contest and Mr. Blair Hartley came a close second. Mr. I... B. Davis won the prize for the guessing contest. Word came from the recorder's office of the grand lodge in San Francisco in a letter stating that the bankruptcy trustees have a list of 2,500 members, representing about Jhree million dolla s worth of insurance, which they will sell to the highest solvent bidder.
