WAYNETOWN MAN HURT BY CORNERS UNDER EAST GOAL If the demands of high school players and rooters alike are heeded the dangerous corners at the east goal of the basketball floor at the Coliseum -will be eliminated before the district tournament games here In March. . . Despite the fact that attention of high school and Coliseum authorities has been called to this dangerous con dltlon, no action has been taken In the matter of eliminating the danger to players. The Injury, of Herman Swank, Waynetown high school center who suffered painful if not serious injuries Friday night -when he was shoved into , the sharp ''wainscoting during scrimmage, emphasizes the fact that elimination of the corners at the east goal Is Imperative. ANDERSON PROMISES ROYAL RECEPTION Anderson's opinion of the Richmond high school basketball team may be summed up in the following dispatch from the Anderson Dally Bulletin: "That Richmond is a team of high reputation is firmly established in the minds of those who have watched the ease with which the Quakers ' have beaten New Castle, Hagerstown, Connersvllle, Waynetown and many other teams of high rating. We are not overlooking the fact that Richmond pushed over and walked on us at a game played in the Coliseum in Richmond some time ago. The final score was 50 to 19. This wbb the worst defeat suffered by the 'Red and Green this season, and by far the worst ever received at the hands of Richmond in the athletic annals of the two schools. We received a drubbing which was not in the book. Richmond will be perfectly at home here, as we have a big floor and will entertain them royally."
