Look at Child's Tongue if Sick Cross, Feverish When Constipated or Bilious Give "California Syrup of Figs." ; Look at the tongue, mother! If coated, it is a sure sign that your little one's stomach, liver and bowels need a gentle, thorough cleansing at once. When peevish, cross listless, pale, doesn't sleep, doesn't eat or act naturally, or is feverish, stomach sour, breath bad; has stomach ache, sore throat, diarrhoea, full of cold, give a teaspoonful of "Califoiyjla Syrup of Figs," and in a few hours all the foul, constipated waste, undigested food and sour bile gently moves out of its little bowels, without griping, and you have a well, playful child again. You needn't coax sick children to take this harmless "fruit laxative"; they love its delicious taste, and it always makes them feel splendid. Ask your druggist for a 60-cent bottle of "California Syrup of Figs," which has directions for babies, children of all ages and for grown-ups plainly on the bottle. Beware of counterfeits sold here. To be sure you get the genuine, ask to see that it is made by "California Fig Syrup Company." Refuse any other kind with contempt.

Shops to Demand More Efficiency
from Workmen
To be an efficient workman a man
must be in good health, according to
efficiency experts, who have become
important factors in every present day
industry. There is no room for the nervous, run down man or woman in
any modern work shop.
Thomas Redding, popular employe of the O..S. Kelley Co., Springfield,
Ohio, who resides at Mason and Sher
man avenues, tells the following story
of how he regained perfect health after years of suffering: ! "I bad been bothered with stomach
1 trouble for years and was just begin- ! nlng to think that my case was hope
less when a friend advised me to try Tanlac. I was skeptical at first as I had tried about everything that came along in the line of medicines and had found no apparent relief from any. However, I purchased a bottle and do you know I noticed immediate, improvement in my condition. "Why before I took Tanlac I was afraid to eat a square meal because of the pains In my stomach and bloating feeling that always followed. I tried dieting but without avail. I was constipated and spent restless nights. I suffered from splitting headaches and my eyes often pained me. "Things have changed now and life is worth lifing. Tanlac put me on my feet. My stomach trouble no longer bothers and I have hardly finished my first bottle. I have noticed that I rest much better at night and can eat ever) thing now without feeling any distress in my stomach afterwards. My eyes haven't ached since I took my first dose of Tanlac. My work at the shop seems easier as Tanlac has restored ray energy and ambition. In short it has made a new roan out of me. I heartily endorse this medicine to all who suffered as I did. It's great stuff. Tanlac. the new reconstrucli-e tonic, appetizer, lnvigorant and rebuilder of torn down tissues, was designed to restore those suffering with stomach liver and kidney disorders and catarrhal troubles of the mucous membranes. Its merit has been vouched for by professional men, artisans and women, whose judgment and reputation is above reproach. It appeals to the best people everywhere. Tanlac is being especially introduced In Richmond at the Thistlethwaite drug stores where the Tanlac man daily explains its merits. Adv.
