In Saturday night's game with the Christians, Earlham will face a slightly altered line-up from that which defeated -the locals on the Coliseum floor two weeks ago. LEMONS SLIP BY SQUEEZERS IN BALL GAME
The lid of the 1916 indoor baseball season came off with a thump at the Garfield gym last night, when two picked teams of Westcott Motor Car company's prospectives battled for nine innings of rather one-sided ball with a finishing score of 19 to 2. John Van Antwerp's crew of rlemons annexed the contest from Pat Shutte's aggregation of Squeezers. Several of the men were playing their first game of indoor baseball, so the one-sided score cannot be taken as an indication of the outcome of games that are played after the men have become more familiar with the indoor branch of the summer game. Pierson and Hineline were the only Squeezers who succeeded in crossing the plate, while of the Lemons the only man who did not score was Cy Brown. The line-up follows: Lemons. Squeezers. W.
