Thomas was born In Chester, Ind., February 21 1859. She passed away January 31, 1916, aged 56 years 11 months and 19 days. She was united In marriage to Jenera R. Wiggs December 25, 1888. She was married at the home of Joseph Tharp, one mile east of Arba, by Rev. Steele. To her were born four children. One child died in Infancy, and William Morton passed away at the age of 3 years. Those left to mourn their loss are one son, Robert Earl Wiggs; one daughter, Florence Estella Grifith; her father, EH Thomas; one sister, Mary F. Snell, and numerous other relatives and friends. She lost her husband in the year 1903. She had been a faithful believer and trusted in the Lord in all her lonely widowhood. She was converted at the age of 22 under the preaching of Mary Moon, and belonged to the Friends church. Hhe had been a patient sufferer for several years, but gave evidence that she was prepared for the beautiful home she has gone to enjoy forever with the dead she loved in life. Weep not. her tolls are o're, Weep not. that her race is run. God grant we may rest as calmly When our work, like her's is done. Till then we yield w ith gladness Our mother with Him to keep, ' And rejoice in the sweet assurance lie giveth His loved ones sleep. Funeral services conducted by Henry Pickett In the Friends church at Arba, February 2, J916, at 2 p. m.. after which we laid her body to rest in the cemetery near by. (7-lt)
