GET FUNDS EATON, O., Feb. 1. Seven members of the volunteer fire department, who were severed from membership by council the first of the year, participated recently in a division of money in the treasury, each receiving $22. Considerable contention developed when the former members asked for a division of the funds. STRAY- HOG EATS CORN. ALEXANDRIA, Ind., Feb. 1. When Ray Oyler found a" stray hog in his back yard he decided to fatten it up and have pork chops for the remainder of the winter. But when the hog ate $7.44 worth of corn in two days he advertised for the owner. Life insurance, which was introduced into Japan in 1881, is very popular and has doubled in extent each decade. . An Easy Way to Get Fat and Be Strong The trouble with most thin folks who wish to gain weight is that they insist on drugging their stomach or stuffing it with greasy foods; rubbing on useless "flesh creams," or following some foolish physical culture stunt, while the real cause of thinness goes untouched. You cannot get fat until your digestive tract assimilates the food you eat. There is a preparation I:nown to reliable druggists almost everywhere which seemingly embodies the missing elements needed by the digestive organs to hel pthem convert food into rich, fat-laden blood. This modern treatment is called Sargol and has been termed the greatest of fleshbuilders. Sargol aims through regenerative, re-constructive powers to coax the stomach and intestines to literally soak up the fattening elements of your food and pass them into the blood, where they are carried to the starved, broken-down cells and tissues of your body. You can readily picture what result this amazing transformation should produce as with increased weight the cheeks fill out, hollows about heck, shoulders and bust disappear and from 10 to 20 pounds of solid, healthy flesh is added to the body. Sargol is absolutely harmless, inexpensive, efficient. Clem Thistlethwaite's four stores and other leading druggists of this vicinity have it and will refund your money if you are not satisfied, as per the guarantee found in every package. NOTE Sargol is recommended only as a flesh builder and while excellent results in cases of nervous indigestion, etc., have been reported care should be taken about using it unless a gain of weight 1 desired.
