MOTION PICTURE MACHINE FOR YOU

Many hundreds of dbllars In ' desirable prizes make up the records that will so to the churches, schools, lodges and organization In this vicinity in return tor the securing ot votes in the Palladium's Motion Picture Machine Campaign which was announced in yesterday's Issue.

Five fortunate organisations will

each receive a complete high grade, motion picture outfit absolutely without cost. Five other organizations

-will each, receive a $100 Star Phono

graph and many others will receive

liberal cash commissions and all of

this for a few weeks of effort and easy work at that. A real opportunity

for the various organizations is pre

sented by this offer and if your members are wide-awake and ambitious you will not hesitate to enter and carry off the honors. Every educator today acknowledges the value ot visual instruction in schools. Few ministers are yet to be convinced of the value of the motion picture as a social factor or as an aid

to religious instruction. The need for

means of entertainment in lodges and clubs accounts for a demand from that source which the Palladium now offers to supply. The spirit of loyalty In the church worker will realize many a congregation's ambition. The spirit of progress In teacher and pupil will supply the schools with this unapproached agency

of instruction. Fraternal pride of the lodge men and club men will make

them eager to participate and win.

The race is not always to the first

; entrant, but it is a very good rule to

be in "at the first." Organization is

a mighty help towards success and

the organizations that begin work first

will be working more smoothly at the

crucial moment. Teachers and pupils

should get the help of friends and parents. Congregations should see that

members of church societies make

the proper efforts. Lodge and club

members can gain headway by making

early starts. -

Don't delay in entering the race for

these awards. If you have not already nominated your organization you will

find a nomination blank on this page.

Clip it out, fill it in and send it to

the Palladium and supplier and full

instructions will be sent and all possible ussistance given your members. Remember that your nomination will start your race with 10.000 votes if sent in now, and every single vote

counts just that much toward the final outcome.

Why not get your church, school or

lodge together and give, an entertainment and let us demonstrate one -of

these t machines and :show -the - members what an unusual opportunity is

presented to them.

With a little determination, enthus

iasm and effort there Is nothing to prevent you from being one of the fortunate ones.

ALL WIN for cash commission

await those who do not procure a prize in their district.

If there is anything that you do not

fully understand, phone, write or call at once. We would like to talk over

the big event with you.

Reasons Why a Church, Lodge or School Should Have One Of These Prizes The world progresses, times change and every organization, regardless of size, wishes to enjoy all the conveniences of modern achievements. ..... What could a church, school, lodge or club possess which would furnish more up-to-date, wholesome entertainment and instruction than a moving picture outfit or a superb Starr Phonograph capable of playing records of all manufacturers? V Think of being able to hear the greatest artists of the musical world, the most renowned orators of the platform, of seeing the great operas, the powerful dramas, and the happenings all over the world and all of this in your own meeting place.( What else would prove such a powerful pulling power and uplift your community more? v By reading the full particulars you will find that your organization cannot possibly lose by taking up this generous offer but on the other hand, profit handsomely. . Tou do not have to enter into competition with the whole county but will be in a very small district, and If you organize your members and get an early start, success win crown your efforts.

Get your organization together; give an entertainment, and let us demonstrate just why you should own one of these machines.

The second prize offered in each of the districts will be a $100 Starr Phonograph. This machine is the very latest improvement in the field of sound re-production and it is exceedingly difficult to describe by word or picture an instrument which must necessarily appeal to the ear.

Today in every land phonograph records are made, but of different types. In order that all of these might be played on the same machine and be available to the owners, the designers of the Starr Phonographs perfected the changeable tone arm and sound box. This is why the Starr Phonograph is the one for the church, school or lodge for any member can bring their own records and allow them to be heard and enjoyed by everyone. This means a big saving to the organization. Can your organization possibly afford to allow this opportunity of adding such an instrument to your school, church or lodge pass by? We hardly think so. And remember that the winning of this much to be desired instrument can be accomplished ABSOLUTELY FREE. All that is necessary is to interest your members and community in The Palladium and have them subscribe

or renew their subscription. Do this at once.
