Having organized the positions taken in the first attacks on the Austro-German forces along the Bessavablan and Oaliclan fronts, the czar's army has renewed its. offensive. Emperor Nicholas has left Petrograd an d is reported to be proceeding to the tront near Czernowitz. The success of the great flanking movement now undur way is believed to depend Son the outcome of a general conflict out Czernowitz, the opening engagements of which have already been fought. The movement toward .organization of Home-Economics clubs, originated by Miss Grace King, county domestic science supervisor, is gaining momentum in all parts of the county. In Economy, Miss Blanche Fennimore, a teacher, has taken the matter In charge and will hold a meeting at her home Saturday afternoon to organize a club. Miss Fennimore is teacher of domestic science at Williamsburg and also teaches art at the Economy school. Problems pertaining to the home and school will be discussed by the farmers' wives, who have taken an unusual inetrest in the movement.

BOARD ORDERS BATH FOR MAIN STREET
The board of public works today decided to give Main street its weekly bath every Sunday morning, when the flusher will scour it from one end to the other. Streets on which there are hitching racks will also be cleaned every Sunday. The board approved a resolution for the paving, of South Ninth street, from Main street to South A street. No action was taken on a petition to macadamize South Ninth ' street, from E street to H street, and to provide cement curbs and gutters. No more streets will be macadamized without a bituminous binder being provided and the board will not act upon any macadamizing petitions until it determines upon a policy for assessing the cost of the binder.
LUTHER LEAGUE, MEETS.
The Luther league of First English Lutheran church met at the home of Frank Haner, South Fourth street, last night. ; Plans are being made for a social next, Wednesday night.
SUES FOR DIVORCE.
Failure to provide will be the chief allegation made in the hearing to be held in circuit court tomorrow when Bessie Keates, formerly Miss Bessie Thompson, 12 North Twelfth street, will ask for a divorce from Harry S. Keates. They were married in 1909 and the plaintiff asks for the custody of their 5-year-old son, John Keates.
