Richmond's polo team won from Racine, 10-6 at the Coliseum Saturday night in the best game of the series. The Wisconsin five let out every link giving a good exhibition. Tbe local boys had to work hard to win, the result being In doubt until the bell stopped play. Lou andO. Quigley and Griffith put up the best polo for the home five, but both O'Metz and Evans played a strong game. Evans, however, did not play as brilliantly as he has in some of the other games. O. Quigley started the first half, by making a speedy dash down the floor with the pill and caging it in 37 seconds. Racine put on a burst of steam, Williams and H. Koozilius scoring in rapid succession. This put them in the lead until L. Quigley made a goal, assisted by Evans. From then on the Richmond team was never headed, although the boys were kept on the move all tbe time for the Wisconsinites were playing desperately. Lineup and summary:

SNYDER PROMISES FANS REAL SCRAP WITH DAYTON KID
Red Snyder, the Cincinnati lightweight who meets Tommy Gary of Dayton, O., tomorrow night before the Quaker City Athletic club, is one of the most promising 133 pound boys in the game today. Snyder possesses everything that goes to make a first class man. . Speed, and judgment of distance being his chief forte. Snyder ha's been boxing for a little over two years, during which time he has engaged in. 29 battles, and has yet to take second money in any event. His principal victories being two decisions
over Billy Ryan, the knockout king of
the Queen City. Snyder is the only
lad who has been declared victor over
this fighting Irishman, and when you stop to think that up until his battle with Red, Ryan had put the quietus on
12 of his 13 foes, tbe opponent of Gary
must have some class.
Snyder has acted as sparing partner for all the high class boxers who have taken part in the shows of the Queen City Athletic club of Cincinnati, which organization pulls the real bouts in
that city. Among the more famous men whom Red has worked with are Jack Britton, Ritchie Mitchell, Johnnie
Dundee and Freddie Welsh. In a letter to Sam Vigran, matchmaker of the Quaker City A. C, the manager of Snyder states his charge is in excellent shape, and assures the fans that he will do his part to make the coming show one of the best ever held in Richmond.

By IZZY BRILL. Indianapolis, Jan. 17. The writer, having witnessed the 10-round bout between Tommy Dillon and Terry Nelson at Dayton, Ohio, several weeks ago, predicts one of the best ring encounters seen in Richmond in years, when Nelson and Dillon clash for the second time tomorrow night. Dillon and Nelson boxed a draw and it was one of the best contests ever staged in Dayton. Jack Dillon, the greatest fighter of his weight the world has ever seen, is a brother of Tommy and he will be at the ring side to coach him. Jack, no doubt, will be introduced to local boxing fans.

GET IT FI21ST NOT LAST When a cold grips your system it is convincing proof that your condition is weakened remember that It is risky indeed to simply trust your strength to throw it off, because neglected colds have brought more serious sickness than any other one thing, while weakening cathartics and stimulating syrups are often depressing and dangerous. The one best treatment for any cold the one so often relied on when others fail, isthe powerful blood-nourishment in Scott's Emulsion, which feeds the very sources of bodily strength to suppress the present cold and generate strength to thwart further sickness.
