All the members of the six boys'

Bible study classes of the Y.'NT. C. A. assembled at a meeting last night and heard a Christmas talk by Rev. E- O- Howard, pastor of the First English , Lutheran church, illustrated by stereoptlcon views. Fifty seven of these views were shown. The boys will hear a ' similar address . on Thursday night. The regular lessons In the Bible classes have been temporarily discontinued and the boys . are - studying Christmas lessons.

Members of the Salvation Army expect to be so busy on Christmas day distributing donations of clothing and food that no services or special enter, talnment of any kind will be held at the headquarters, Ensign Vanhorn said today. Dr. W. L. Ballanger, 54 years, died

early this v morning at his home . in Economy.' He is survived by his wife.

Funeral services will be held at the Economy Methodist church at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon conducted

by the Rev. Oliver Frailer. Djr. Ballanger was a graduate of the Economy high school, Eartham college and the Bellevue Medical school in New York.

HLL INDIANA BUILDING.

INDIANAPOLIS, Dec. 23. Word received from Reprentativa William R. Wood, member of the Indian PanamaPaaiiic exposition commission, is to the effect that tha Indiana building at the fair, which the commission recently offered to give to the war department, had Taeen sold for $1,200 to a wrecking company. The building was constructed of Indiana limestone and cost the state $36,000 . The furnishings sold for 12,300, which is fifty per

cent or the original cost.
