ANNOUNCES COMING NUPTIALS IN JANUARY
MILTON, Ind., Dec. 21. Miss Lora Beeson entertained in a very charming manner at a thimble party Saturday. The house decorations were done in the color scheme of yellow and white. Especially was this so in the dining room where draplngs were festooned from the chandelier to the four corners of the table. A very dainty luncheon in which the colors were carried out in the block ice cream, Angel food cake, candies and nablscos was served, Miss Pauline Kniese of Cambridge City, the little niece of Miss Lora, assisted in serving. At the luncheon favors were tiny white suit cases tied with yellow ribbon. Upon opening the suit case a card cut into slips, was found and each of the guests was told to match the pieces. There was quite a puzzle but when accomplished, each guest learned that she held the announcement card of the engagement of Miss Lora. The card read, "James Murphy-Lora Beeson, January 12." The invited guests were Misses Gussie Miller, Irene Crook, Luella Lantz, Blanche Coyne, Helen Coyne, Florence Daniel, Serena Hoshour, Ruth McCormlck, Lorene Warren, Mary Jones, Marie Elwell, Nora Murphy, Marie Harmier, Lillian DuGranrut, Mary Murphy, Mary Caldwell, Laura Bertsch, Mesdames Charles Kniese and daughter of Cambridge City, Will Hussey, R. A. Connell and children, O. L. Beeson, George Wagner, Llnville Ferguson, Carl Williams, Ott Crownover and daughter, Frances, Charles Davis, W. E. Williams and Hiram Crook.
