FRATERNITY SCRAP MAY DISORGANIZE ROSE CITY'S TEAM

New. Castle's pride and - joy,1 the basketball team, which was so. severely trounced by Richmond recently, has been caught in the throes of a great upheaval which may result in the dissolution of the squad. Principal Fox of the high school has opened a campaign against fraternities. Members of both the first and second teams are members of one or both of; the organizations and have refused to sever their connections upon the principal's demand. Prof. Fox yesterday Informed the athletes that unless they resigned from the fraternities he would cancel the game scheduled with Muncie tonight, forfeit the money posted and suspend the entire team. . The boys refuseel to quit their fraternities. The result of this fight and the effect it may have on the Rose City's high school athletics is awaited with interest by Richmond students. v

DO THIS FIRST-YOU !

You know, and every physician knows, that when any sickness has passedwhether it be throat trouble, organic disturbances, contagious diseases, or even a severe cold, a relapse is feared, because sickness robs the system of Nature's resistance and leaves it subject to lingering germs. Drugs never build up a worn-out body only food can do that, and the first thing to take after any sickness is the concentrated, blood-making oilfood in Scott's Emulsion, which feeds the tissues, benefits the blood and strengthens both lungs, and throat. Physicians prescribe Scott's Emulsion after sickness. Nurses everywhere advocate it. Scott's is pure medicinal food, without alcohol pr drugs. I Scott & Bow&e, Bloonifield, N. J, 15-22

iiONDier.:iiiidiiSPENT BY TOURISTS AT HOME THIS YEAR

WASHINGTON, Dec. 1.- More -than a hundred ' million dollars, usually spent by American tourists in Europe, was divided in the last year among railroads, hotels and allied enterprises in the United States, according to a section of the report of Secretary of the Interior Franklin K. Lane, which was made public today. The great national playgrounds the Yellowstone National park, the Yosemite valley and many other national reserves were responsible for the expenditure of a liberal per centage of this vast sum on travel, says the. report. To increase the accessibility of the beauty spots in the United States, particularly in the west, and to attract each year more - and more American citizens who in former years have spent their vacations abroad, to the natural playgrounds of this country, is the plan of Secretary , Lane. He says that these natural resources of an aesthetic nature are of almost as much value to the people as the industrial resources of the country, and he would make the parks Of the United States the Mecca of seekers of natural' beauty the world over. , The secretary reports that additional hotels are being erected in the great national parks of the west, that better . roads are being constructed over a steadily increasing mileage and that trails are being opened each year by means of which any American citizen may visit with comfort and ease the Rocky mountain fastnesses heretofore known only to such lovers of the Sierras as John Muir and John Burroughs.
