ARCADE. "The Destroying Angel," an Edison photo drama, released through KlelneBdison Feature Service offered at the Arcade theatre tomorrow is a fascinating story of blended romance and tragedy, abounding in dramatic situations that unfold step by step, a strong, forceful plot. Those who like exciting scenes will find pleasure in a chase at sea in "The Destroying Angel." Three of the speediest motor boats in the country were used in preparing this scene on the waters off Long Island, New York, and a person can almost imagine he hears the chug chug of the motors as he watches the boats cleve the water at terrific speed. LYRIC. "Under a Shadow," at the Lyric tonight. Despite the efforts of the government of the Republic of Balkania, foreign agents and spies of two belligerent powers are waging a secret war against each other within the republic's borders. The agents of one power attack bombs and explosive raones to the stern of the ships leaving the republic's neutral ports, combustibles are placed in the hold of outgoing steamships ebelonging to th the other belligerent, and the ammunition plants of the neutral nation, which are turning out Bhells and munitions of war, are set on fire and blown up frequently. Secret agents of both sides swarm in the large cities of the republic. Diplomatic representatives of both powers are constantly shadowed by secret service agents and thefts of private papers frequently take place. These conditions prevail at the time our story opens. ELDER8 ELECTED

MILTON, Ind., Dec. 14. The Christian church elected elders for the coming year at the services Sunday morning. They are F. M. Jones, Charles Hale and J. L. Manlove. The deacons will be elected at the next regular preaching service.

THIN FOLKS WHO WOULD BE FAT

Increase In Weight Ten Pounds or More. "I'd certainly give most anything to be able to fat up a few pounds and stay that way," declares ejvery excessively thin man or woman. Such a result is not impossible, despite past failures. Most thin people are victims of mal-nutrition, a condition which prevents the fatty elements of food from being taken up by the blood as they are. when the powers of nutrition are normal. Instead of getting into the blood, much of the fat and flesh producing elements stay in the intestines util they pass from the body as waste. To correct this condition and to prcy duce a healthy, normal, amount of fat, the nutritive process must be artificially supplied with the power which nature haa denied them. This can probably best be accomplished by eating a Sargol tablet with every meal. Sargol is a careful combination of six splendid assimilative agents. Taken with meals they mix with the food to turn the sugars and starches of what you have eaten into rich, ripe nourishment for the tissues and blood and its rapid effect has been In many cases reported remarkable. Reported gains of from ten to twentyfive pounds in a single month are by no means infrequent. Yet its action is perfectly natural and absolutely harmless. Sargol is sold by Thistlethwaltes and other druggists everywhere and every package contains a guarantee of weight increase or money back. NOTE: Sargol Is recommended only as a flesh builder, and while excellent results in cases of nervous indigestion, etc., have been reported, care should be taken about using it unless a gain in weight is desired. Ruinous Curling Iron No Longer Necessary

The woman whose hair has been burnt dreads the hot curling iron. She knows only too well how destructive to the life and beauty of the hair this instrument of torture is. She will, therefore welcome the information that a simple product to be found at any drug store will not only give her tresses the desired wayy effect, but without burning, discoloring, streaking or injuring hair or scalp in any way. It is nothing more than plain silmerine in liquid form. It should be applied to the hair with a clean tooth brush, preferably at night. A convenient way is to divide the hair into strands and moisten these one at a time from root to tip. In the morning the hair will be found beautifully wavy and curly, having the appearance of perfect naturalness, no matter how the hair is done up. The effect lasts a considerable time and one need only a few ounces of tho liquid silmerine. This, by the way, is neither greasy nor sticky. Adv.
