Of the few three piece afternoon costumes featured this season, this one is one of the most distinctive. It is shown in turquoise blue panne velvet in combination with skunk fur and elaborate metal brocade. The bodice and skirt was a very dressy affair with a tunic of panne velvet. The drop was of silk net and was trimmed.
GOUNCILMEN INSIST ON HEARING MOORE
Superintendent Moore of the Mun cle tchool. author ot the Indiana teachers' pension law, has written to City Clerk Bescher suggesting that as members of the Richmond school board had heard him speak twice on this law that it probably would be best to secure some one else to address council on the subject at the council meeting next Monday evening. He adds, however, that if council wants to hear him talk on the provisions of the pension law, he w4U arrange to come to Richmond on that date. Mr. Moore suggests that If he is not desired as the speaker, that Superintendent Collicott of the Indianapolis schools, or Superintendent Hines of the Crawford svllle school be secured. Clerk Bescher will write to Mr. Moore Informing him that council and the school teachers desire him for the speaker. COLLECTIONS FALL
IBOUT $30 SHORT
Though special emphasis was laid by Secretary Learner on the need of contributions fully meeting the expenses of the Sunday afternoon theatre meeting for men at the Gennett yesterday, only $33.39 was received. The expenses were about $60. This is exclusive of a $60 deficit from previous meetings. Secretary Learner Beeks to have the Sunday meetings pay for themselves, but each one so far has failed to do so.

Free Trial and Demonstration at Arlington Hotel. Rupture sufferers tn and near this city will be given the opportunity of witnessing a most remarkable demonstration of what STUART'S PLAPAOPADS do for ruptured people. Thosa desirin? it will also be given a liberal trial of PLAPAO for home treatment, absolutely FREE. DOES AWAY WITH TRUSS The PLAPAO-PADS are entirely different from the article commercially known as a "truss." In fact, they are dpsiffred to do away with bands of steel and rubber that chafe and pinch, The'.r remarkable success is due to the principle of keeping constantly applied the scientifically compounded absorbaLt-astrmgect medication called PLAPAO. The purpose is to contract and strengthen the weakened pbdorainal muscles, thus closing the hernial opening as nature intended so the rupture CAN'T come down. Being self-adhesive, and when adhereing closely to the body slipping or shifting is lr- possible, therefore they are an important adjunct in retaining rupture that cannot be held by a truss. Demonstrator Babcock. whose wide experience in this country and Europe makes him an authority On matters pertaining to the application of PLAPAO-PADS to any particular rupture, will be at the Arlington Hotel, Tuesday, Dec. 14. only. Hours 10 a. m. to 7 p. m., and he will be pleased to give WITHOUT CHARGE, to all who call, expert advice and trial for ho t treatment Do not fail' to call on Mr, Babcock during his stay in the city.
