No trouble has been reported by either ' the Western Union or Postal Telegraph company's with their wires In this -vicinity although the Western Union reported considerable difficulty in the neighborhood of Danville, 111. . The Home , Telephone ' company's wires are all clear, and the storm has not affected its service. The storm which started . Saturday did not Interfere with traffic on the Pennsylvania or C. & O. systems. All trains have been running on time.
SNOW COVERS VIRGINIA.
WASHINGTON, Dec. 13. The first real snow of the season today blanketed northern Virginia and the District of Columbia to a depth of three inches, slightly impeding railway traffic and interfering with telephonic and telegraphic communication.

WASHINGTON, Dec. 13. Captains Karl Boy-Ed and Franz von Pappen. the German naval and military attaches who have been recalled by their government, will sail from New York, on Dec. 28 for Germany. This was learned on reliable authority today. It was stated that safe passage has been pbcured.
TWENTY-FIVE ASK AID.
Twenty-five - calls for aid were made at the office of the township trustee today. The sudden cold snap has fallen heavily on the poor people of the city and most of the demands this morning were for coal. The Social Service Bureau has also received numerous calls for relief.
