SITE FOR XfJAS THE STILL UilCZCIEID . -:v. ; ! location of the municipal Christina
tree promises to be, a perplexing question for coundlmen and other city officials to solve when they meet Monday evening. ' It Is 'generally agreed
that the exercises will nave to be held
out of doors. Even the Coliseum is not large enough to accommodate the crowds which attend such events. .. It is desired to locate the tree on Main , street rlthin the' shopping district or very close to Main street, and it is planned to hot up the tree on Monday preceding Christmas. So far it has been suggested that the tree should be placed on the roof of the First National bank; on North Eighth street, either on the lawn of the Elks' club or' on the vacant lot at the rear of. the Dickinson Trust building, or on North Tenth 'street opposite the Westcott hotel.
