Mrs. Pettis -Reid and Mrs. Frances Edmunds were guests. , - . , - Favors went to Mesdames Edward Klute, Edward Cooper and George Ferling when members of a card club were entertained by Mrs. Mason Byer. Mrs. Roy Fry was hostess Tuesday afternoon for a Christmas meeting of the Good Time Needle club at her home on South Fifteenth street. Christmas decorations were used in arranging the rooms. Contests and an exchange of gifts were enjoyed. The next meeting will . be held after the holiday. The hostess will be announced later. Loyal Chapter, No. 49, Order of Eastern Star, will give a social Saturday evening at the Masonic temple for members and-their families. Sojourning members are also Invited. A Christmas party was enjoyed last evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jacqb Horr: by the members ' of the Social Aid of Reid Memorial church and their families. The hostess, was assisted by Mesdames George Gault, W. L. Misener and Mabel Johnson. A luncheon was served.
