SUNDAY. In the present stage of human ingenuity it is impossible for an individual to' duplicate or multiply himself or herself. This is a pity, in respect of the famous motion picture artist, Clara Kimball Young, whose . work As in such strong demand by exhibitors and the public, that it is a physical impossibility to satisfy it. - In the part of Plutina in "The Heart of the Blue Ridge," Miss Young has-a part which brings out her very varied emotional gifts to perfection and -.-gives- her : a chance of putting over a very strong offering indeed. The richness of the setting, the beauty and vigor of Miss Young's impersonation make out the film as a highly appreciated and popular offering. "The Heart, of the Blue Ridge," a World film release,' will be shown at the Palace Sunday.

some extraordinarily elaborate sets in his picture. Fitzmaurice's cast, by. the way, is one of the highest salaried, if not the highest, which has ever been used in a picture. Florence Reed is

bis leading woman, and she. is supported by Farnk Sheridan, Charles

Waldron, Lyster Chambers and DeWitt Jennings, not one of whom but is a real Broadway favorite. "At Bay" will be shown at the Palace Monday.

TUESDAY. Emmy Wehlen, the brilliant little stage star, last seen in the Casino theatre production of . "Marriage a la Carte," which enjoyed wide vogue in New York and on the road, will be seen at the Palace Tuesday in "When a Woman Loves," which is her. first effort as a film -actress.

WEDNESDAY. "The Millionaire Baby" Did the plotting Dr. Pool finally acomplish his bold determination? Did Valerie Carew, former queen of burlesque, conquered by mother love, seize an advantageous opportunity and " spirit away her loved one? Did Marion Ocumpaugh have knowledge of Gwendolyn's disappearance? Did Justin Carew, finally recognizing his wife and desiring a reconciliation, see the light and kidnap his own child? The detective, finding a piece of torn dress belonging to Valerie, suspects her. He sees Justin about to leave the Qcumpaugh mansion and suspects him. His trail leads to Dr. Pool's home, and that scheming physician denies all knowledge of the disappearance of the child. Philo Ocumpaugh, the millionaire, offers $50,000 reward for the recovery of the child.

They always have dinner together at a cheap cafe, but Ruth longs for the better things in life. Hartford Medball. a. wealthy old bachelor, sees her ope day and persuades her to take dinner with him. .John bears of this and suspects the object of Medhall's attentions. A few nights later .he follows the pair to the bachelor's apartment and gains entrance. John makes, a lunge for Medhall. who begs 'for .mercy. He then makes known to the innocent Ruth the trap that has been set for her. WEDNESDAY. The. colossal film masterpiece. "Vanity Fair," with Mrs. Fiske in the role of Becky Sharpe, comes to the Arcade theatre next Wednesday. This is an Edison production and easily the greatest ever executed by that well known maker of good pictures. Also, it is conspicuous as the first Edison offering on the newly . organized Kleine-Bdison Feature Service program. Needless to say a production of sufficient size to warrant the engagement of Mrs. Fiske is no ordinary film ven

ture. More than four hundred people were employed in many of the big scenes, notably the one which portrays Lady Richardson's ball in Brussels. This scene is in itself elaborate enough to stamp "Vanity Fair" an extraordinary production. The antique curio shops of Manhattan were ransacked for hangings and furniture of the period and the entire mammoth floor of the Edison studio was utilized.

STILL AWAITS BOND

BEGINS TO REPAIR OLD TRAIL EAST

County Road Superintendent Jones will begin the repair work on the National road east as soon as the weather permits. Four carloads of crushed

stone arrived today and he intends- to

use at least three carloads on the National road, which is in a bad state of repair, although it has only been in service a year. The road superintendent considered the advisability of placing gravel on the stone road but later decided to repair it with crushed stone, awaiting the final outcome of the experiment on the Chester pike, where gravel was placed on top of the surface stone.

AUTHOR COMPOSES NEW FORD FARCE

Scene fim "When a Woman Loves" at the Palace Tuesday.

James Montgomery, author of "Ready Money" and "The Aviator," prominent successes of the past two seasons, has written a new farce which he has named "My Ford." It will appear very shortly, and judging by the name alone, we would say that a long, successful run, wherever it may be tried, is the only logical conclusion to draw concerning the play.
