Smith from the farmers of this county to be distributed among the needy poor. Barney Llndemann, former county commissioner, was the largest contributor today. He has offered fifteen bushels of apples which will be collected this evening by J. E. Mills. Mr. Llndemann, who lives near Greensfork, gave five bushels yesterday. Ten bushels of choice Kiefer pears have been offered by Mrs. Frank Druley. southeast of Boston. . They will be collected late this afternoon. O. H. Martin, 425 Richmond avenue, city, has donated five bushels of apples. Seven teen bushels of apples were secured from the farms of the following eprsens yesterday: D. P. Gard, Mrs. Free man Smith. Centervllle, and H. B. Llndemann, Greensfork. The apples are being distributed by Mrs. Elizabeth Candler.

Johnson la survived by his -.widow, Nlta Johnson; his mother, Mrs. Henrietta Johnson, and one brother, Abner Johnson, of this city. He was the son of the late Loots Johnson. For two years he was located at McAlester, Okla., but about one year ago returned to Eaton.' Funeral services will be held . Friday

at 2 o'clock at. the late home, conducted by the Rev. Henry Crampton. Burial In Mound Hill cemetery. DENNIS MANN EATON, O., Nov. 18. Dennis Mann, 25, a victim of lockjaw, died Wednesday afternoon at the home of William E. Brown,, three miles west of Camden. While in a "shinny" game a few weeks ago Mann was struck on the nose by a club In the hands of a friend. Lockjaw developed Saturday and since that time death had been expected. The deceased was a son of Mrs. Albert Mann of this city. The body will be brought here for funeral services, which prabably will be held Friday. Besides his mother he Is survived by two brothers, Ury and George Mann, and one sister, Mrs. Homer Sho waiter, all of this city.
