HILTON PASTOR MEETS MEMBERS AT GATHERING
MILTON, Ind.. Nov. 17. The Rev. M. S. Taylor, M. E. pastor, Is holding a series of meetings at the church, this veek. He hopes thereby to become acquainted with the organization of the 'church in a business and social manner . On. Monday evening he met the official board and ay friends. On Tuesday evening he met the orchestra and members of the choir. On Wednesday evening he1 will meet the Ei worth League, and on Friday evening the Ladies Aid societies. Thursflay evening is the regular prayer service. Mr. Chubb is a lecturer and educator of experience,, both in England, where he was born, and in America, where he has been , connected with various colleges. Plana for the celebration are being considered by the authorities at Earlham college and the Drama League, with Mrs. H. R. Robinson as its representative. TO SERVE SUPPER.NEW PARIS, Nov. 17. The Woman's Relief Corps Is planning to give a supper Saturday evening at the Q: A. R. post rooms. The proceeds go to make Christmas happier for the childres in the- Soldiers' and Sailors' Orphan Home at Xenla, Ohio, and for other soldiers' families who may be unable to obtain Yuletide blessings. 7

BAND ASKS TRIP ON CORN SPECIAL 7 EATON, O., Nov. 17.-Members of the State Agricultural Board are considering an application filed by the Commercial Club band for selection as one of the musical organizations which- will- acoompany the Buckeye Cora "Special party on an excursion east to Philadelphia, Washington and New York: The party -will be carried in four divisions- and a band will accompany each section. When Eugene Debs was here recently, Ballinger became so enthused with the personality of the leader of Socialism in the United States that he followed him for several days on his lecture jtour through the east.
