Everything except eternity must have an end, particularly a football team which should have a pair of them. Most of the teams in the east this year have men who fill "the position of end, but - there are none who stand out like Shevlin and Rafferty, Davis and Henry and other star ends of other years. - ' . ; However, Cornell is about as well supplied as any of the big teams with good ends. Of the two ends of the big red team, Shelton looks to be the better. According to present dope Shelton is slated for-all-American and he deserves the honor if for nothing else than his playing in the Harvard game. ,

With two Milburn light electrics sold this week, the number of electric cars sold by the Richmond Electric company through Houstan Marlatt, bead of the sales department, is twice as great as the number of electrics sold by any other firm in this city. Some of the buyers of Milburns recently are John H. Johnson, Benjamin Johnson, E. G. Hill, John M. Eggemeyer and Adam H. Battel. "The Milburn appeals strongly to women." said Mr. Marlatt today. "It weighs nearly a ton less than the large, heavy electrics, and because of its lightness, it costs half, or less than half to operate and maintain. "The usual excess weight and bulkiness have been eliminated by efficient designing and the use of better materials. Women Want to Drive. "After a woman has been in the car several hours she usually wants to learn how to drive. It is surprising to note how easily a woman learns to handle the Milburn. This is due to the simple construction used in arranging the steering gear and the motive power. "Several of the women who are running Milburns had no trouble a few days after they had learned to operate the car to negotiate intricate traffic conditions and to take the car In and out of their garages, even where these wer so situated that careful driving was necessary.' "As the bodies are low, women prefer the car to others because it is so easy to step In and out. "The electric service station' maintained by the Richmond Electric comSTARTS NEW AGENCY -c C. SAXON STANDS TEST OF HARDEST USAGE Manager Johnson of the automobile department of the Reid Hardware company reports that business is humming and that the Saxon car is gaining friends daily. He submitted for perusal a batch of letters a foot high, all . eulogisms of the wonderful feats performed by the Saxon. The car has stood every test it has been put to and has performed feats that many other manufacturers would no dare try, or at least have not attempted. ' The car has the speed and the staying qualities and can get over the roughest roads1 without the slightest difficulty. .. v . . ,

DUICK DEALERS STICK TO AGENT STATES -' -;- Speaking - of Buick cars and Bulck success J. W. Carnahan, local : agent for the car went into some detail and gave sound reasons for the success of both car and the dealers. Mr. Carnahan said : "Buick dealers, more than any others, are permanent. And for this reason our dealers are able to -more intelligently . judge their market, and more accurately forecast the motor car . features . that the public will demand in the future. Buick dealers, almost to a man, have established their business on a permanent basis. They have built not only for the present, but for the future as well, and they give more study and thought to their business for those reasons. - "A motor car dealer who Is in business to stay, and who has aligned himself with one company in - which he has confidence, , naturally -will , give more thought to his business than will the dealer who, is-Jn, the business because ho. think ttere is some cream to be sklmnieil off,; after which he yiiiX have to look to something else for a living."
