THIS WOMAN NEEDS HELP. PAOLI, Ind., Nov. 11 Clerk Charles Brown of the Orange circuit court, has been called upon to decide for an Illinois woman whether she is a mar ried woman. The request is contained in the following puzzling letter: Ninantic, 111., Nov. 9, 1915. County Clerk, Paoli, Ind. Dear Sir: Please let me know whether I am married or not. The judge in Springfield, 111., said I was not married, so if I am not. please let THIN FOLKS WHO WOULD BE FAT Increase in Weight Ten Pounds or More. "I'd certainly give most anything to be able to fat up a few pounds and stay that way," declares every excessively thin man or woman. Such a result is not impossible, despite past failures. Most thin people are victims of mal-nutrition, a condition which prevents the fatty elements of food from being taken up by the blood as they are, when the powers of nutrition are normal. Instead of getting into the blood, much of the fat and flesh producing elements stay in the intestines util they pass from the body as waste. To correct this condition and to produce a healthy, normal, amount of fat, the nutritive process must be artificially supplied with the power which nature has denied them. This can probably best be accomplished by eating a Sargol tablet with every meal. Sargol is a careful combination of six splendid assimilative agents. Taken with meals they mix with the food to turn the sugars and starches of what you have eaten into rich, ripe nourishment for the tissues and blood and its rapid effect has been in many cases reported remarkable. Reported gains of from ten to twentyfive pounds in a single month are by no means infrequent. Yet its action is perfectly natural and absolutely harmless. Sargol is sold by. Leo H. FIhe, Richmond, Ind., and other druggists everywhere and every package contains a guarantee of weight increase or money back. NOTE Sargol is recommended only as a flesh builder, and while excellent results in cases of nervous indigestion, etc., have been reported, care should be taken about using it unlesB a gain in weight is desired. me know. Judge Weaver, at the county court, said I wasn't married, and if I am not married, please let me know at once. How to Prevent Croup. It may be a surprise to you to .learn that in many cases croup can be prevented. Mrs. H. M. Johns, Elida Ohio, relates her experience as follows: "My little boy is subject to croup. During the past winter I kept a bottle of Chamberlain's Cough Remedy in the house, and when he began' having that croupy cough I would give'him one or two doses of it and it would break the attack. I like it better for children than any other cough medicine because children take it willingly, and it is safe and reliable." Obtainable everywhere. Adv. Beware of Cheap Substitutes. In these days of keen competition it is important that the public should see that they get Chamberlain's Cough Remedy and not take substitutes sold for the sake of extra profit. Chamberlain's Cough Remedy has stood the test and been approved for more than forty years. Obtainable everywhere. Adv. Distress In the Stomach. There are many people who have a distress in the stomach after meals. It is due to indigestion and earily remedied by taking one of Chamberlain's Tablets after meals. Mrs. Henry Padghan, Victor. N. Y., writes: "Fcr some time I was troubled with headache and distress in my stomach ofter eating, also with constipation. About six months ago I began taking Chamberlain's Tablets. They regulated the action Of my bowels and the headache and other annoyances ceased in a short time." Obtainable everywhere. Adv. -Chambeafa W-T-abtgf .- - This la a medicine intended especially for . stomach troubles, biliousness and constipation. It is meeting with much success and rapidly gaining in favor and popularity. Obtainable everywhere. Adv.
