NEW MADISON, O,, Not. 4. The alrriage of Miss Dessle Scbllentz, soungest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Scbllentz, to Walter E. Cahlll of Lewisburg. O., was a happy event of Wednesday evening at six o'clock at the home of the bride's parents, Eldorado, Ohio, Rev. Dr. Peters ,of tbe Lutheran church officiated .with the impressive ring service. Miss Schlientz was gowned fa a dress of white crepe meteor, trimmed in silk shadow Isce, chiffon and pearls. Her bridal veil was caught with valley lilies and swept. over a long court train. She carried a shower bouquet of white roses and valley lilies, which completed the bridal costume. To the strains of Lohengrin's march, played by Mrs. Morton Holumond, Dr. Peters preceded the bridal party down the stairway, ; Little Jeannett Trick, nelce of the bride, was flower maid and carried a basket of pink roses. Tbe bridegroom followed, on the arm of Wo. E. Scbllentz. While the bride was given away by her father, the matron of honor was Mrs., Wm. E. Schlientz, whose gown was of white crepe de cbene, trimmed in . point-lace .... and pearls, with train and wore pink roses. ' - -: . The bride stood under a large bell of white chrysanthemums and smllax. While tbe background was backed in , palms and at each aide were pillars of large pink and white chrysanthegaums. . . .-'' Tbe home was beautifully decorated and festooned with - hearts,- flowers smllax and ferns. : .. v; - Immediately after the ceremony Mr. Morton Hammond f sang "A Perfect Day" and "To The End of the World

At each' end of -the able were placed baskets of roses, at each place were tiny baskets of pink and band painted place cards holding favors which were a pink rose in each. The bride's going away gown was of navy bine cloth of-Norfolk fashion, a small hat to match,, bearing a small red rose. She wore a bouquet of pink roses and a pretty white ostrich ruff about her shoulders. Mr. . Cahill : is the only son of Mr. John Cahill, and is connected with his father in the granite and marble engraving business of Lewisburg. Ohio, where he has a host of friends. - They left for a short trip east, after which they will make their home in that city. " - ' f i , The out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Apple Pudding. Peel and cook tbe apples and when soft run . through . sieve, making iBto a puree. Sweeten to taste and add vanilla and then let the sauce get cold. Beat up three eggs, both whites and yolks, and mix with the . cold .apples, and put into earthen dish with piece of butter tbe size of a walnut and powder with white sugar. Cook in oven for half an hour, being careful that it does not burn. " Eat hot or cold, . ,V Roasted. Squab, - ' : Clean nicely and truss as if it were a turkey; using wooden' skewers.' Pass' a piece of nice fat pork'ov'er the breast of each pigeon and fasten behind. Put a small piece of butter, inside of each pigeon and stuff with truffles, but that is not necessary. Put tbe pigeohs in roasting pan and add a tablespoonful -of butter arid about two table-
spoonfuls of water. Baste frequently and be careful not to scorch, letting the birds roast from fifteen to twenty minutes. Have a slice of toast for each pigeon. Butter well, remove fat pork and place on toast. Pour over each a little of the gravy in roasting pan. allowing it to soak into break. Serve hot with Jelly or cranberry sauce. , ' " Corn Fritters, ;To a pint of crushed corn (fresh or canned) add one whipped agg, two tablespoon fuls of melted butter, salt t.o taste and enough flour to make a. thin batter. Stir well together. Beat hard and cook as you would griddle cakes upon a soapstone griddle.
