In connection "with "the manufacture of the Starr Phonograph,-which is attracting wide attention throughout the country, the Starr Piano company is planning to start a recording depart, menu " Experts are now at work on the project and according- to a' statement of-Harry Gennett, vice-president of the company the recording studio win be opened about January 1, 1916. "For several-months we -have had our experts at work: on the project," aald fMr. Gennett. "and according to our present plana, we expect to construct -a studio, for- making- records to be used on the Starr phonograph. The studio - will - be in - the -buUding which has: been completed for the manufacture of the instruments.''
