lchucotuiiiuhe: STUTTGART. Oct 14 To her great surprise Mrs. Martin Weber of Rleollngen, the widow of Wuerttemberg soldier wbo was killed at the western front: in June, was notified - recently that 36,000 marks deposited by her
late husband in a bank at Ulm would be at her disposal after the conclusion of the necessary legal formalities. The soldier had always . been considered a very poor man; At the age of sixteen years he emigrated to' the United States. Fifteen years later he returned, -but he apparently was as poor as when he left. He found work as a carpenter and shortly afterwards married a poor factory girl. When he was called to the colors last winter he left bis wife with two little children almost penniless. His
family: has since .been . supported by a relief committee. Dung his sojourn in America the man bad saved about $8,000. This amount, considered quite a fortune in Germany, he deposited in the bank after his return, without telling anybody of his wealth. He never drew any Interest and even saved up about a thousand marks more from his scant earnings. . ,

' . Although an administrator had been appointed, in the absence of a will, to take .charge of the estate of the late Martha L. Peelle, who owned property
at Centerrille, it was found that the deceased had left. a will, bequeathing to .Robert W. P. Noble the entire estate. The will was found among the papers in the law office of Henry C. Fox. It was made in 1894. Noble had been appointed administrator of the estate, which was given to Evaline Peelle, mother of Martha L. Peelle. Evaline Peelle died at Indianapolison October 4, 1896. two years after the will was made. , The administrator of the estate knew nothing of the will until it was found by Henry C. Fox, a short time
ago. He Is the only heir of Evaline Peelle and consequently .will receive the entire estate. The final report was filed in circuit court this morning before Judge Fox. wbo was a witness to the original will as a practicing lawyer In this city.
