V7AMTZAPATA'5 FATE KNOWN AT CAPITOL
WASHINGTON. Oct. 6 General Zapata . and his followers formed the stumbling block in Carranza's path to recognition as leader .'In Mexican affairs. This it was learned was the gist of what Secretary of State Lansing informed Carranza's confidential agent here last night. As a result Arradondo, the agent, got into communication with General Carranza at once. He informed him that the state department must be told of what Carranza plans to do with Zapata or how he intends to dispose of his opposition. Messages were flying back and forth between Carranza and his agent here today, dealing altogether with the first chief's plans as regards Zapata.

One of the strongest indorsements ever given Tanlac, the "Master Medicine." which is doing so much good in Indiana, is that of Mrs. Daniel Brendan, 419 Third street, Portsmouth, (3. Kirs. Brennan says: I "My youngest girl, Aurelia, had calarrh in a most severe form, in fact, it affected her stomach so her food did not digest properly. Slight colds brought on discharges from the nose, full head and annoying droppings in 1he throat. Her tongue was nearly always coated and her breath offen
sive. The first few doses of Tanlac made such a wonderful change in her condition that I purchased two more fiottles for my other two girls. "Today Amelia looks like a different, person; says she feels fine. Edna has taken about eight, doses of Tanlac. but is already much improved. Susan, the eldest girl, has just started using this wonderful medicine, so you se ie has been adopted into the family. I don't wonder that Tanlac is called the 'Master Medicine.'" Tanlac, the splendid medicine which is electrifying the country by the results it is accomplishing, is distributed in Richmond at Thistlet hwaite's four drug stores, where the attendants are explaining the remedy.
