WHEAT IS ERRATIC ON CHICAGO MARKET CHICAGO, Oct. 1. Wheat acted In an erratic manner, turning rery strong after, an early brake only to react toward the last with corn and the persistent refusal of the Winnipeg market to rally and with Dec about unchanged and May Vc lower. Corn was ' tinder pressure to the last with stop orders uncovered as prices declined and the finish was 1to ic lower. ' Cash demand was fair with sales 150,- ' 000. Oats declined and lost at c. Shipping sale were 158.000 bushels. Provisions were-bought by Cudahy and Armour and with reports of 5,000.000 pounds meat and 2,000,000 pounds lard sold ' for export rallied after a break and closed with ribs 2 to 20 higher.
