When a man is the director and part proprietor of over a dozen railroads and commercial enterprises, it 6hows splendid system that he has plenty of time to devote to tennis and plays a snapppy , game. In spite of his multitudinous duties and the many demands upon his valuable time, Edwin Gould is an enthusiastic tennis player and is seen often on the courts. Lindley received the sad news of the death of his father at Westfield, Sunday evening. Frank Worl and wife were visitors at Richmond and Centerville Saturday and Sunday. Carrie Wickersham, wife and Miss Ethel Mull of Economy, were guests of J. W. Harrison and family Sunday. Miss Lucile Wilson is spending this week at the county infirmary. Henry Sumwalt and wife are visiting their son Harry and family ' at Williamsburg. THRESHING OUTFIT SPLITS AT ECONOMY EC0N6MY, Ind., Sept. 23. The Stringtown threshing 'ring's third annual reunion was held Tuesday night at the home ot O. L. Hiatt. The meeting was called to order by Frank Cain, chairman, and was an enthusiastic if not humorous one. No officers were elected. There will be another meet ing soon - to reorganize a new ring. The following were present, Joe Lamb and family, Gus Weyl and family, Jesse B. Stanley and wife, John Replogle and sons,. MASONS GIVE WORK. MILTON, Ind:, Sept. 23. Milton Masonic lodge had work in the Master Mason's degree Tuesday evening. The candidates raised were Frank Wallace and Chester J. Coppock. There was a large attendance of the brethren, sev eral from Cambridge City Masonic lodge being present and assistant to give the work. A banquet was served W. H.
