Marie Gahill in "Judy Forgot" Comes to the Lyric Wednesday, September 8. "Judy Forgot" Forgot what? Forgot that she had a hubby; forgot that
she was supposed to be the mother of
three bouncing babies; forgot that she was not Trlxy Gale, the famous burlesque queen, who was being pursued for abducting, and marrying a young millionaire minor; forgot that she had been in a railroad, wreck; forgot that she shouldn't 'let fat old Mr." Mugg make love to her; forgot! that she had locked her. dear, devoted. - and extremely jealous hubby in a bathroom a hundred miles away; forgot but why nominate the things Judy; forgot, when the real question before the house it: "What didn't Judy forget?" Judy was a comic opera queen. She had all the Johns from Kennebunkport, Me., to Coronado Beach, Cal., lying awake ; nights figuring how much money they ceuld spend on her without breaking the bank. Judy spent her life dodging the boys and usually came out over the stage apron in order to avoid the local spendthrifts who gathered about the stage entrance to strew flowers before her as she walked from said stage door to her limousine. Oh, she was a cuckoo, was Judy. . One evening, . however, Judy suddenly discovered during her accustomed performance that a man in a box was straining every effort to catch her eye and several times was upon the point of faling out of the box in bis efforts to follow her movements. This upset Judy very much, since she had never before allowed herself to become annoyed. She had never before seen such a bold y6ung man.
