AUTOS COLLIDE ON RACE BRIDGE NEAR NEW PARIS NEW PARIS, O., Aug. 16. When E.'0.Reid and Roy W. Roberts. both driving automobiles, crashed into each Other on the mill race bridge, near the railroad tower, both cars were damaged. Slow speed prevented a bad wreck. Mrs. W. B. Reid and Miss Carrie Whitaker left Thursday night and join ed Miss Carrie E. Reid at Columbus, all going from there to Cleveland, where they begin a two weeks' cruise on the Great Lakes. K Prank Miller has returned from Maryland, where he was called by the death of his aunt. Mr. and Mrs. C. P. Allen Levering has purchased a touring car. Homer Pence suffered a severely cut hand Friday while at work in he butcher shop. ,W.v E. and Ramer Jones returned Saturday from Miamisburg where the just finished a twenty days job of oiling the roads of the township. The fifteen miles of oad required 28,000 gallons of oil. An election is called for August 26 at the township house, between the hours of 1 and 4 o'clock for the purpose of electing two trustees for the public church meeting house. I Miss Sarah McGred spent Saturday and Sunday at Gratis. Mrs. Ralph McDonald and twin sons returned Saturday from a week's visit with .relatives at Windfall,' Ind. Mr. and Mrs:-John Weber spent Saturday night and Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Melody. Mr. and Mrs. George Penland and Miss Nettie Sinck were guests Sunday.
