WHEAT SALES DROP ON CHICAGO MARKET
There was almost a complete cahnge In the feeling in the .grain market late as compared with that early in the day. As the second a wore away the offerings increased in the pit and the falling was largely by confirmed closel5"connected with the country. The action of these houses reflected a good change in condition in the country and the probability of much larger receipts in the near future. Wheat lost 214 to 2 for the day; corn was off to
2 and there were declines at V to
2 cents in oats.
Cash transactions were small in the
grains and -included 65.000 bushels new wheat for export, 75.000 bushels
corn and 85,000 oats. Hog products were off sharply in
price with the greater losses in pork.
