- An Informal dancing party -was given ' last evening by Mr. and Mrs. William Dudley Foulke at their pretty home ; on South Eighteenth street, as ai courtesy to their grandsons, Masters! Needham of the Cornell apartments left last evening for Cleveland, O., where she will be the guest of friends and kinspeople for several days. Mr. and Mrs. James A. Carr of Westcott Place have gone to Battle Creek, Michigan, and are guests at the sanitarium having gone to take advantge of the health facilities of the institution. Miss' Helen Davis returned to her home in. New Castle after a pleasant visit at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Rogers. She was accompanied home by Miss Charlotte Rogers who will be her guest for several days. Miss Luclle Motley of South Twelfth street, has gone to Van Wert, O., for a visit with Mies Virginia Williams. The following young people formed a picnic party at Glen Miller Park Monday evening: Misses Atla "Wile-oxen, Ethel Reichard, Balkis Pinnick, Vinnie Witmer, Messrs. Macey Mahin, Stanley' Eikenberry, Clyde Driffill and James Kinsella. The fifteenth national reunion of the association of the descendants of George and Michael Harlan in the United States will be held in Richmond, August 18 and 19. This reunion will celebrate the twentyeighth anniversary of the landing of the name Harlan in America. Every person who can trace his relationship to the name and every friend of the family is invited, to attend. The headquarters of the association will be at the Westcott Hotel. For full particulars and program enclose stamp to the national secretary, A. H. Harlan, New Burlington. Ohio. The committee wants this to be the best reunion it has ever held and in order to make it a success co-operation and assistance is needed. Mr. S. I. Harlan of Milton, is president. Thirty-five members attended the meeting of the Bethany Bible class of the Second English -Lutheran' church held last evening at the home of Rev. Raymond Isely. A business session was held after which Mr. Robert Gentle played several violin numbers and Miss Margaret Gentle played his piano accompaniments. The remainder of the evening was spent socially and with music and games. Refreshments were served. It was decided to meet the third Tuesday in each month instead of the third Monday. The host and hostess for the next meeting will be announced later.

At a late hour refreshments were served. The hostess for the next meeting will be announced later. An ice cream social will be given this evening at the home of Mrs. Dean on North Fourteenth street, by the ladies of the First Baptist church. The public is invited to be present. Mr.and Mrs. H. B. Neff entertained at a week-end house party at their home on South Main street. Her many friends are hoping she may have a speedy recovery. .. .Miss Edith Hilbert has gone to Chicago to spend her vacation with relatives and friends. - The wedding of Dr. Garner Druley of North Webster, Indiana, and Miss Carrie Wiedemer, who has been making her home with Mrs. Cora Hart, at Kitchel, Ind., was . solemnized this morning at Eaton, Ohio, by. the Rev. Mr. Crampton of the Christian church in the presence of a very few intimate friends and kinspeople. The bride wore a pretty traveling suit with hat to match. She is well known throughout the county as she has been a teacher in Wayne Township and last year taught at Boston. Dr. Druley is a former resident of Boston, where his friends are numbered by the score. He was graduated from the Richmond High School in, 1908 and from Indiana University in 1912. For the past two years he has been an interne in the Grace Hospital at Detroit but has opened an office in North Webster where the young people will reside, after a short wedding trip. They have the best wishes of all for a happy future.

Ladies Loyal Moose Circle will meet Wednesday evening at 7:30 o'clock in the Moose hall and important business matters will be considered.1 Miss Mable Hasemeier's class of piano pupils from Centerville enjoyed a picnic yesterday afternoon and evening at Glen Miller Park. A delicious supper was served. The guests were Dorothy Smelzer, Mary Dunkle, Byron Nixon, Mildred Driffell, Ruth Commons, Edna Johnson, Edna Vorhees, Edith Bramer, Paul Fouts, Esther Fouts and Eula Pike.

The Woman's Home and Foreign Missionary society, of the- St.:.- Paul's Lutheran church will meet Wednesday afternoon with Mrs. George Bartel at her home 208 South Fourteenth street.

Miss Vera Crome of South Seventh street, who has been attending school at Indiana University, is the guest of her parents for the remainder of the summer.

The Ladies' Auxiliary of the Y. M. I. met last evening in the club rooms. On account of the small attendance the delegates to the convention to be held in Indianapolis August 1 were not appointed. However, a meeting will be held next Monday at the club rooms tat which time . delegates must be named. It is important that all members attend. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hooven chaperoned a gay little group of young people on a motor ride to Maple Farm, Lebanon, yesterday where they gathered for a delicious chicken supper at 6 o'clock. In the motor party were Misses Mary Hooven, Gladys Blevins of St. Louis, Rachel Capen of Boston, Josephine Sohngen. Otilia Schwartz, Eleanor Seidel of Richmond, Messrs.
