HO I LUltl I LHliI PLAYS VIGRANS AT EASTHAVEN Saturday's Games May Affect Final Standing in Race for Pennant in S. A. L. S. A. L. GAMES. Vigrans at Easthaven. Ad-Hill vs Natco, playgrounds. A 8. M. vs. D. & W., Athletic park. The striving Easthaven outfit has its vork cut out tomorrow when it attempts to pull down the Vigrans lead i the race pennantward. Slack boys ave won their last two games, breakig their losing streak, when they capjred an unsuspecting victory from the id-Hills and followed it with a win , ver the D. & W. last Saturday. But me game has been dropped by the Vi,'rans to a S. A. L. team, and they exect to finish the season with but one -ame lost. Play will be called at 1:30 : 'clock. At the playgrounds the attraction vill be the Ad-Hills and Natcos. Both ook good as pennant contenders, beng only a few points behind the leaders, and upon the outcome of this ;ame probably rests who will be the runners-up or maybe the winners. The two consistent loosers try it out 'at Ahtletic park, the Seeders and D. fe W. hooking up in a battle which should be an evenly fought affair. Even if the Tailors have lost all but , one game, they have invariably made the winners step lively to take the game, and tomorrow's contest should be no exception. Umpires will remain on the grounds where they officiated last wekk Fisher at Easthaven, Peck at Athletic park and Meyers at the playgrounds.

S. A, L. TO
Reports from the New Paris-Vigran game of last Sunday will be the main business of the S. A. L. tonight at its meeting at the Y. M. C. A. Other matters such as transferring of players and the listing of new men will also come up. With the idea of further strengthening his lineup, Hi Pucket will ask for the services of Earl Miller, a brother of Carl Miller, backstopper of the New Castle I. S. L. team. Miller is said to be a classy fielder and a good hitter.
ENGAGES CHICK LONG
Dick Kenney has changed the batteries of the games for July 4 and 5 again. He announce sthat Chick Long and Helwig will be the batter in Sunday's game while for Monday he will have Bacon, Hampton and Helwig. Helwig is a catcher whom Dick is figuring upon using but it all depends upon what he has to show in Sunday's game whether or not he will be carried as the club is .tired experimenting and will insist that any new player from now on deliver or get out.
DARING SWIMMER TRIES NEW STUNTS
NAPS WANT BOOKING
The Naps are finding it hard to book games with out-of-town teams, and just why is a matter the manager would like to have threshed out. The team has won the only game played this season. Included in the line-up are several local high school stars, and the manager figures that his team would make a high class booking for any of the surrounding teams. He would like to hear from Williamsburg, Boston, New Madison, Economy or other surrounding towns.
RESPECT DUBLIN NINE
Greensfork ball tossers are expect
ing a hot little argument Monday
afternoon when they take on the fast
Dublin team at Greensfork.
Fans as well as the team respect the strength of the Dublanites and every
thing that is possible will be done by the Greensfork followers to help their team along to a victory. Greensfork has had a pretty successful season
the boys relying upon teamwork rather than individual playing to pull games their way. They play Lewisville at Lewisville on the Fourth.
Brewers have found that the fermenting power of yeast is increased by brief exposure to ozone.
WANTS MUNGIE GAME
Muncie is the next team which the S. A. L. will endeavor to bring to Richmond on the next open date of the Richmond Baseball club. The proposition will be brought up at the meeting tonight, and it is probable that Herbert Puckett will be instructed to get in touch with the Gem City league and offer a proposition to come to' Richmond.
With hands and fet shackled Commodore Henry Elionsky of the New London branch of the American Life Saving society will attempt to swim from the Batter to Steeple Chase park, Coney Island, on July 4. He has already swam Hell Gate with three men strapped to his back and towed a boat containing seven men through Hell Gate from the Battery, to Bay Ridge, L. I. He expects the Fourth of July swim to take him about six hours.

CfORGS WILTS
George Wiltse, one time heaver for the Giants and more recently manager of the Jersey City International Club, is now looking for a job, having been deposed from his managerial position after the "Skeeters" took an awful slump. It is charged that Wiltse was too much of a gentleman to make a good manager. He did not have the heart to give a player a call down.
