Because of circumstances attached to the case there will be no criminal proceedings. Staley Is just starting a penitentiary term of one to seven years. BRICKLEY RECEIVES HARVARD DEGREE

Macadamized roads are so called from John Loudon' Macadam, their Inventor.

GOOD BEHAVIOR

Richmond residents were on their good behavior last month as indicated by the police report for June, issued today. This shows that only fiftyseven arrests were made, an unusually good record for the average number of arrests per month is 100 or more. Twenty-three of the offenders last month were hailed into court on charges of public intoxication.

DELEGATES NAMED.

John Lott, state organizer of the association and Josephine Fleming, have been appointed Richmond's delegates to the Btate convention of the National Association of Post Office Clerks, July 5 in South Bend.

GUPID SHOOTS DARTS

"Guilty of pernicious activity," was the verdict today in the suit of the State of Single Bliss against D. Cupid. Activities of Cupid for June were unexceeded by any previous months this year and probably a number of previous years. How many darts he cast is beyond estimate, but it is known he succeeded with forty-nine of them. The past month has made up for previous shortages this year in marriage licenses. The clerk's office report today said there were forty-nine licenses issued in the past month, establishing a new record for the present administration.

HOW TO HEAL

SKIN-DISEASES

A Baltimore doctor suggests this simple, but reliable and inexpensive home treatment for people suffering with eczema, ringworm, rashes and similar itching, burning skin troubles. At any reliable druggist's get a jar of resinol ointment and a cake of reslnol soap. These will not cost a bit more than seventy-five cents. With the resinol soap and warm water bathe the affected parts thoroughly, until they are free from crusts and the skin is softened. Dry very gently, spread on a thin layer of the resinol ointment and cover with a light bandage if necessary to protect the clothing. This should be done twice a day. Usually the distressing Itching and burning stop with the first treatment and the skin soon becomes clear and healthy again. Adv.
