CUTS CENTER STREET TO PROPER LEVEL Center street, Fairview. the surface of which is from three to seven feet higher than the sidewalk, recently constructed, is to be cut down to conform with 'the walks, r "Today the board of public-works awarded a" contract for the grading of this street to J. WILSON PLAYS GOLF

h HANOVER, N. H. June. 28 For the first time since hisT vacation began, President . Wilson, played golf today, going over the"18-hole course with his physician, Dr. Grayson. The president arose very early and was soon on the links. Later, in the day after attending to his correspondence he went automobiling. Many invitations are pouring in on the president from New England towns and cities that want the chief executive to visit them, but Mr. Wilson does not plan to accept any of them.

BRITISH SUOMARIEE WRECKS 7 VESSELS

ATHENS, June 28. The British submarine that penetrated the Sea of Marmora by diving : under the Turkish warships at the eastern entrance of the Dardanelles, is keeping up its attacks on shipping. Seven Turkish merchant vessels carrying food supplies for the Galllpoli8 army have been sunk." Most of the .Turkish warships have sought shelter in the Golden Horn as a result of the submarine's operations. Resumption of aeroplane activities on Galipoli peninsula indicate a renewal of the allies assaults there under an unprecedented scale, according to advices received today.
