U. will be held at Horseshoe bend Thursday, and will be an all-day- affair. . MotjoC furnishes the music and a greater part of the program. Economy will be represented on the program by Rev. NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS: Notice is hereby given by the board of public works of the city of Rich mond, Indiana, that sealed proposals will be received by it, at its office, at the hour of 10 o'clock a. m., on Thursday, July 1, 1915. For tv(p hundred and fifty (250) feet of cotton rubber lined fire hose, coupled complete, two and one-half (2) inches, internal diameter, and capable of standing a pressure of four hundred (400) pounds per square inch when delivered, and the bidder must warrant and. agree, that should any of the said hose fail or give out within thirtysix (36) months after date of delivery, from any cause -due to defect in the manufacture or material, to replace the same free of charge to the city on the return of such defective lengths. The bidders, in submitting proposals to make said described fire hose, must accompany each bid with a certified check in the sum of $100, as evidence of good faith that the successful bidders will execute, within ten days from the acceptance of proposals, contracts and bonds satisfactory to the board to furnish said hose. A failure of the successful bidders to enter into such contracts and bonds upon the ac ceptance of such proposals will forfeit the checks and the sums of money payable thereon to the city as agreed and liquadated damages for such failure.
