IF BACK HURTS USE SALTS FOR KIDNEYS I Eat Less Meat If Kidneys Feel Like Lead or Bladder Bothers You Meat forms Uric Acid.
Most folks forget that the kidneys, like the bowels, get sluggish and clogged and need a flushing occasion: ally, else we have backache and dull misery in the kidney region, severe headaches, rheumatic twinges, torpid liver, acid stomach, sleeplessness and all sorts of bladder disorders. You simply must keep your kidneys active and clean, and the moment you feel an ache or pain in the kidney region, get about four ounces of Jad Salts from any good drug store here, take a tablespoonful in a glass of water before breakfast for a few days and your kidneys will then act fine. This famous salts is made from the acid of grapes and lemon juice, combined with llthia, and is harmless to flush clogged kidneys and stimulate them to normal activity. It also neutralizes the acids in the urine so it no longer irritates, thus ending bladder disorders. Jad Salts is harmless; inexpensive; makes a delightful effervescent lithlawater drink which everybody should take now and then to keep their kidneys clean, thus avoiding serious complications. A well-known local druggist says he sells lots of Jad Salts to folks who believe in overcoming kidney trouble while it is only trouble. (Advertisement.)

Jackson park. The Canter township delegation then tuned around Its banner and flashed the sentiment, "All Roads Lead to Jackson Park." An early poll of the townships show ed that sentiment favored Glen Miller park, but Wayne township delegates said they would abide by the decision of the meeting and asked that Center township present its claims fully to the association. There was no deter mined effort to bring the celebration
to the park. On the final rou can, When Wayne township was called, it cast its two votes for Jackson park, an act that brought forth a stirring round of applause from the meeting. . The county officers are:
President, Dr. I. 8. Harold, Rich, mond; secretary, J. H. Biose, Center
Yille: treasurer. Lawrence Handley;
executive committee; besides the three
officers, Win Roller, Clay township; Claude Kltterman, Jackson township.
The Fourth of July celebration committee consists of Fred Teas, Clarence
Bertsch, C. B. Lundy, Wood Bllason
and James Harris. The constitution Adopted -last even
ing gives each township organization two representatives with right to vote
in the county organisation, out per
mits the privilege of the floor to any
member of a township organization. The constitution binds the township organizations together and leaves local government, and the handling of
local affairs solely In tne townsmps. Constitution Adopted.
The meeting was called to orderly Lawrence Handley, and C. W. Jordan and L. M. Feeger were elected temporary chairman and secretary, respectively. The constitution was referred to the1 following committee which "reoorted its adoption: Mark Stevens;
Center; George Murray. Jackson; w;
J. Curtis, Franklin; Lewis Hampton, New Garden, and Robert Beeson, Har
rison. The nublicity committee was in
structed to order Good Roads buttons to be sold to members of the organisa
tion as one means of raising funds.
Lee B. Nusbaum asked for the names of all the bands in Wayne county that
township organizations will bring to
the celebration. He will order , music
for the event. . Claude Kltterman, a Jackson town
ship booster, in pressing the claims of
Jackson . park, argued that too much attention was being paid to persons
who own automobiles and not enough
to the farmers who must drive horses
to the scene of . the celebration. He held Richmond was too far east for farmers, compelled to drive from
Washington township and other western units.
J. H. Biose, president of the Center
Township Commercial club, pleaded
for Centervftle, adducing its central location on the National road, its rich fund of history, its ability to take care of the crowd. E. M. Haas advocated Glen Miller partk, arguing that farmers could easily reach Richmond by
train and interurban. George Ballin ger held the same opinion. Stevana Settles Issue.
Jesse Stevens practically settled the
issue when he said Jackson park ex
tended from Randolph to Union coun
ty, said there was a snrvey6r's doubt
whether Glen Miller park was inside the Indiana line, and ia all seriousness then pointed fto the long list of great
men who came from Center township
He pointed jto the saigas of . Oliver P. Morton, Julien and cither prominent men in Indiana's history during the
Civil war.
. - The meeting, last might was pro
phetic of an enlarged sphere of activity for the organisation, so delegates said. The Fourth of July cele
bration was regarded merely as an incident, while v the lig purpose of bringing together country and city
was held forth as tan supreme purpose of the Catherine.
The enthusiasm displayed last evening was regarded one of the most gratifying results of ttw work. A lOng line of automobile strung along South Fourth from Main to. A street indicated that the county is taking seri
ously tne work of the organization.

Doctor Tells How to Shed Bad Complexion
We cannot restore degenerated fa' cial tissue any more than we can restore a lost limb. It is useless to attempt to convert a worn-out complexion into a new one. The rational procedure is to remove the complexion instead remove the devitalized cuticle. Not by surgical means, however, as the underlying cutis is too thin, too tender, to withstand immediate exposure. Applying ordinary mercollzed wax will gradually absorb the offending cuticle. By degrees, a new, youthful skin appears; sbft and delicately tinted as a rose petal. No lady need hesitate to try this. Procure an ounce of mercolized wax of the druggist. Spread on a thin layer before retiring, removing this in the morning with soap and water. In from one to two weeks the complexion Is completely transformed. An approved treatment for wrinkles is provided by dissolving an ounce of powdered saxolite in a half pint of witch hazel. Bathing the face in the solution brings prompt and remarkable results. Dr. R. Mackenzie in Popular Medicine. -Adv.
