FRIENDS TAKE TRACK EVENTS BY POINTS Josiah Russell Stars With 20 Points for Individual Work Talbert Jessup Comes Second. West Richmond Friends won out in the Sunday school track meet Wednesday afternoon at the playgrounds, the west side lads rolling up a total of 75 points, with their nearest competitors showing up with 49. Josiah Russell was the star of the meet, this lad making 20 points and scoring in every event in which he entered. Talbert Jessup was second, with 19 points. BLOOMERS CAPTURE SECOND OF SERIES

Unlike most Bloomer Girls baseball teams which happen into the various cities were the Federals yesterday in their games with the Vigrans at Athletic park. After administering a defeat in the afternoon they turned around in the evening and playing indoor baseball outdoors walked away with the second game by the score of r. to 3. The Girls carry four men on ihc'r team and it was due to a large mo;t8Uio to their presence that the local team was defeated. Although unaccustomed to the kind of ball ns played in the nighttime the Visrans nevertheless gave a pretty pood account of themselves and made th Bloomers extend themselves to il'.e limir to win out. Williams featured with 20 strikeouts tr his credit. Two errors by the locals helped materially in losing the game for them. The Vigrans had many chances to score but poor judgment by baserunners at critical times caused their undoing. Williams' rank error in the sixth inning started the winners. Ryan is just a little better than the ordinary twirler which generally will be found on a girls team, having a fast one that is a beauty and a good curve ball. The Vigrans out hit their opponents 2 to 1 but as before said poor judgment killed all their chances. Score and summary:

GIVES GAY PARTIES AS DIVORCE CAUSE

' Gay parties in the bright lights of Cincinnati's cafe district are given as the cause for divorce in the suit of Bert Warner against Mary H. Warner. Warner .says he lived in Cincinnati
