GRAIN RULES STRONG ON CHICAGO MARKET CHICAGO, May 25. The grain list ruled strong in nearly all of today's session, and had there not been liberal taking sales the advances would have been even greater. The market pivoted on the buying of some pf the stronger houses in the belief that there were crop damaging reports withheld. The cash situation was weak with no sales of wheat reported. There were gains of lc to 2c in wheat, c to c in corn and c to lc in oats. Cash sales of corn here were 95,000 bushels, and of oats 75,000 bushels. Provisions were irregular, showing but little change for the day.

CHILDREN BORN HERE PLAY IN VAUDEVILLE
The bill at the Union Airdome on South Tenth street is of unusual interest, not only because of the fact that it is the first vaudeville seen in Richmond for some time, but because one of the acts originated in Richmond. The act is by the Four Juvenile Kings. Four children who formerly performed in Richmond at amateur theatricals and entertainments, returned to their home after three years' success on the vaudeville circuits. They have been playing the leading houses of the country. The King act is not the headliner, but created more interest and amusement than any other. There are three other excellent acts. The Kings are the children of Mr. and Mrs. Albert King.
TURKISH SHELL FIRE DRIVES OFF CRUISER
CONSTANTINOPLE, Via Berlin and Amsterdam, May 25. A cruiser of the Anglo-French fleet at the Dardanelles was so badly damaged by shell fire from the Turkish land batteries and bombs dropped from an aeroplane off Gaba Tepeh on Sunday morning that it had to be towed away by five other warships, according to an official statement issued by the Turkish war office today. The statement also says that in the land fighting on Saturday in the region of Sed-ul-Bahr the allies lost four thousand killed and wounded.
