But Miss Gwendolyn doesn't need pere Foulke's shekles. She has brains all of her own. Tragedy has been this aspiring young woman's ambition since childhood days jand when the youngsters in Richmond gave the penny shows in the barns, Gwendolyn always died in the last act. 'She is a very serious mtnded young jperson and in her black costume of taffeta coat suit and severe black hat, !relieved only by sheer white collar, jshe looked her part to perfection. But fhe really was not in the least serious the tea for she was constantly encircled by her old friends and new acquaintances. She has been the luncheon guest of Miss Helen Boyd, who formerly lived in Richmond and who played dolls with Gwendolyn before jhey were in their teens. Miss Winired Taylor of the cast also was very popular. Mrs. M. J. Garty leaves Wednesday tr her home in Evanston after a pleastat visit with Mrs. Charles E.
