SUNDAY. "The Jungle" In a pleasant village (if far away Lithuania lives old Antanas with his wife, his step-daughter Ona, and two younger children, Kotrina and Stanislovas. Jurgis Rudkus, of a neighboring cillage, is betrothed to the beautiful Ona. Jokubas Szedvillas, an old friend of Antanas, who some years earlier has come to America in search of fortune,

wirtes in glowing terms to Antanas, telling of the great opportunities which the country offers and bidding him to come to it. Antanas becoming enthused, decides to migrate with his family. Jurgis is persuaded to go with them, as is Marija Berczyuska, a cousin of Ona's.

Arriving In America, the party goes

to Chicago to meet Jokubas, and finds him established as the proprietor of a humble delicatessen shop. Among Jokubas patrons is Connor, the foreman of the Durham packing house, and exercising his small influence, Jokubas secures employment through Connor for Jurgis, Ona, little Stanislovas and old Antanas. Then are unfolded the trials of immigrants in a new country.

dolier with an exceedingly sunny nature, is in love with Annette Ancello, daughter of Trudo Ancello. Roberto

Gallia, the wealthy merchant of the city, is also in love with Annette. The merchant is a dilapidated old dandy at whom Annette laughs. Annette's father, however, gives Pietro a year in which to make good and furnish

SUNDAY. "His Affianced Wife" Vera Ashton's brothers, Jim. has led her into a life of crime, and forced her to be his accomplice. One night the brother and sister are chased by the police. Jim is captured and sentenced to prison. Vera makes her getaway. Some time later, the girl becomes a stenographer for Dixon & Co., a wealthy contracting firm. She and Dixon fall in love. One day he goes out at noon, neglecting to close the outer door of the safe. Suddenly, Jim enters. Cera is surprised and alarmed to 6ee her brother, whom she supposes still in prison. He proposes that they rob the safe, but she indignantly refuses. Jim overpowers her and breaks open the safe. MONDAY. "Son of the Dog" Dog-who-never-leaves-the-scent, for his bravery in an Indian uprising, is told to name his reward. He asks that his little son be taken and educated as a white man. This is done. John Graham becomes a football star at Carlisle, and later wins a medical degree. He marries Mary Penton, and obtains the position of post surgeon on the Indian reservation. TUESDAY. "Added Fuel" Jane Pepper, reporter for "The Daily Mail," hears that her father's and brother's business

difficulties are being aired upon "the street." She begs Sim West, rival reporter for "The Express," to print a denial. West makes a scoop and publishes the entire scandal. Shortly after this Jane's father is found mysteriously murdered. The guilt falls

upon her brother. THURSDAY. "Stroke of the Angelus" John Ford

leaves his dying sister Alice and her very sick little girl in their stranded emigrant wagon while he scouts for

help. He places a child, the last sur

vival of a neighboring wagon, in the train, besides the sister. Alice takes the chain from her wath and puts it

around the neck of her own little girl

SATURDAY. "Song of the Heart" Arthur Von Bauer, son of a German composer.

puts his sorrow for the loss of his father and mother into music and calls it "The Song of the Heart." The melody is stolen by Stephen Richards, a piano player in a low dive in the same building when Von Bauer has rooms. Mign&n Ober, who also lives over the young German, hears him working on his composition and is charmed by it.

NEXT SATURDAY. "The Ingratitude of Liz Taylor" A Selig comedy-drama in two reels, produced by E. J. Le Saint, from the original story written by Maibelle Heikes Justice This Is a picture play of true heart interest, containing flashes of both pathos and comedy. Jimmie O'Meara, an orphan newsboy of ten year, has an abiding love for Liz Taylor, who has been kind to him. Liz Taylor and Ben Bradshaw find employment in an overall factory through the instrumentality of Jimmie. Jimime is later the cause of Ben's promotion, and the discharge of Doyle, forman of the factory. Armed with a big bouquet, Jimmie visits Liz and proposes marriage. Stunned with his great love, and the though of all that he has already done for Liz, Jimmie cannot see it nor understand. Slowly, he and his pet dog, Sport, go out. Downstairs on the doorstep he sits down to think it over. Still there is only one thught in his mind. With his arm thrown around faithful Sport, Jimmie exclaims: "Ain't that the ingratitude of a woman!"

SUNDAY. "The Dancer" Joe King, Charles Giblyn, Cleo Madison, Agnes Vernon, Jean Hathway and Ray Hanford featured in splendid three-reel drama written by Ida May Parke and produced by Mr. Giblyn. Married according to his mother's wishes, young husband continues clandestine love affair with dancer until the latter discovers that her sweetheart's wife is her own daughter, deserted on a door step years before. MONDAY. "From Italy's Shores" The New York police and various private detective bureaus have cognizance of the operations of a clever band of crooks who make it their practise to scrape acquaintance with newly arrived immigrants when they land at Battery Park, New York. These human vultures prey upon the fears of the immigrants and by one means or another force them to deliver their hoardings to them "for safe keeping." Money so "loaned" is never returned

and the members of the band split up the thefts among themselves and go back to Battery Park to wait for the next incoming shipload of immigrants. Immigration societies do their best to fight this evil, but, only too often, their endeavors are in vain. WEDNESDAY. "Court Martialed" Allen Holubar, Frances Nelson, Hobart Henley and William Welsh in four-reel Imp Drama, written by Raymond L. Schrock and produced by Stuart Paton. Wayward son steal military plans from his father to pay gambling debts. A brother officer is sentenced to execution for the crime, but the voung man, his latent manhood overcoming his personal fear, confesses his crime to his father and faces firing squad like a soldier's son.

TUESDAY. "Deadly Hate" Charles Meredith is madly jealous of his brother, John, yho is the favorite of Lady Constance, and inveighs against him strongly. When Sir Randolph, father of the young men, on his deathbed, calls the members of the family to him, Charles, who Is subject to epileptic fits, is unable to join the sad gathering, as he has just recovered from a violent spasm. Sir Randolph wishes it understood that he wants his son, John, to marry Lady Constance, his ward. When Charles, the dissolute son, hears of this, his jealousy and hatred are increased, and he swears revenge.

THURSDAY. . "The Reaping" Robert Chambers and his wife are childless. Edward Gray is a ne'er-do-well and constantly applies to Chambers for loans. Mrs.

The go-between is one Henry Pank, an ex-prize fighter, who is in love with Linna, Black's daughter, tho' neither the girl or the father know of the attachment. Some of the old soldiers have been robbed near the den and Black 6ends word that Mother Hubbard must stop these outrages. She, however, defies him. Bob Nelson, a reporter, who is the accepted suitor for Linna's band, is assigned to investigate the case.
