Murray films MONDAY AND TUESDAY.
"False Colours." Lloyd Phillips, an
actor, at the death of his wife, for nineteen years exiles himself. He returns to find solace in his deserted child. The girl, abused by her guardian, runs away before her father's return and achieves success as ah actress. A spurious daughter is introduced by the housekeeper's son. She proves to be the child of a theatre maid, in lovev for years silently and secretively with the actor. The lie Is uncovered, but in the unfolding of this appealing drama the love of the actor for the woman he believes at first to be his daughter erases the memory of the dead wife and ends his quest for happiness.
WEDNESDAY. "Call of the North." Galen Albert and Graham Stewart are employes at an important trading post in the great northwest. Albert marries Elodie. Rand, one of the traders, instills jealous thoughts in Albert's mind, pointing to Stewart as the guilty man. Albert, who is factor at the post, condemns Stewart to travel the journey of death. Stewart makes the long journey, first giving his son to an Indian woman. Stewart dies, and Galen Albert is made factor. Young Stewart, a free trader, defying the laws of the trading company, is captured by the factor's Indians and
condemned to make the journey of
death. The factor's daughter, Virginia, falls In love with New Stewart. The journey of death consists of a man being compelled to walk across the snow-covered plains to civilization, without food or arms. Rand, who caused the breach between Albert and Stewart's father, witnesses Picard's giving the rifle to Stewart, and tells Picard's sweetheart, Julie, that unless she becomes his wife, he will tell the factor of Picard's aidins the condemned Stewart. Julie at an opportune moment shoots and vitally injures Rand, who confesses with his dying breath to having wrongfully injured Graham Stewart. Realizing the Virginia loves Stewart, the factor sends her to meet him, ."nd the brave woodsman begins life new with his bride from the wilds.
"Sign of the Cross." An impressive feature film production of unusual importance and power is the famous players'paramount. five part adaptation of Wilson Barrett's supreme dramatic triumph, "The Sign of the Cross," which opens at the Murray for a run of two days. The subject is an elaborate revision of Wilson Barrett's wonderful popular drama which has stirred the emotions of every civilized race throughout the world for many years.
Lyric Films SUNDAY. Matty's Decision" Christy Mathewson takes the leading part in the drama of the opening season of the baseball world. The famous baseball star appears in Gold Seal two-reel drama with Hobart Henley, Dorothy Phillips and Howard Crampton. Ball which is thrown by famous pitcher crashes through window and hits pretty young lady on the head. A romance results therefrom. MONDAY. "Prophet of the Hills" settles an ancient feud between mountain clans at the sacrifice of his own life and reunites young sweethearts who have been parted by the feud of their parents. Frank Lloyd enacts the principal role, that of Jim Blake, the son of a mountaineer, while Helen Leslie is cast as the daughter of neighboring hillbilly.
TUESDAY. "Unlike Other Girls" Pauline Bush and William Clifford star. Daughter returning from school finds the cook gone from her father's restaurant. She Jump3 in and does the cooking herself. Son of railroad man
who wishes to buy the restaurant kid-! naps the cook and falls in love with j her. The photoplay has rather an un- i usual plot and is bound to interest if'
only because of the excellent character acting done by Miss Bush, William Clifford, Ray Gallagher and Lulu War-renton.
WEDNESDAY. "At the Banquet Table" King Baggot, the most distinguished character portrayer on the eastern coast Is featured as Sheerl Jones, a young business man who drinks too much at a banquet and has some disturging dreams as a consequence. Dumped into the wrong house by his friends, young naval officer narrowly escapes death when a frightened young woman shoots through the curtain at him.
THURSDAY. "Nabbed" Francis Ford and Grace Cunard star. Bison two-reel police drama contains sensational scenes showing the interior of many houses of ill-repute known to the police. Daughter of chief of police kidnapped and forced into house which is raided by her own father. Saved by an unfortunate girl, police chief's daughter later gives her benefactor a chance to start a new life. Ward bosses and crooked politicians foiled.

SUNDAY. "A Wireless Rescue" Filled with a desire to get square with the railroad. Engineer Jim Burke, discharged for drunkenness, tries to incite some of the other engineers to go on strike. Meeting with poor success, he and his gang then try to get Welch, the operator and towerman at the bridge across Clear River, to quit, but he refuses. Angry words are passed and a fight is narrowly averted. Doubly enraged. Burke swears to be revenged on both the railroad and Welch. Several days later he and his gang attack Welch, bind him and throw him into the lower part of the tower. Polly

TONIGHT. "The Undertow." Jack, a country boy, falls into evil hands and becomes identified with a gang of thieves. The gang is chased over the roof of a house. Jack seeks refuge in one of the apartments, occupied by Detective Sergeant Grey and his sister, Florence. The girl takes pity on Jack and hides him. Jack promises to reform. His old associates manage to implicate him in a safe robbery and he is arrested. Jack, apparently escaping from prison, goes to the rendezvous of the thieves. They tell him just how the evidence was planted. A detective and several officers, concealed within hearing, rush out and overcome the criminals.

MONDAY. ! "The Timid Mr. Hootles" Natural timidity is the bane of Mr. Tootles' existence. At the office where he is employed the clerks make him! the butt of all their jokes, and even' the boss himself joins in the merriment at Tootles' expense. The mere1 presence of a woman plunges him into !
the most ridiculous embarrassment, and with the exception of Maria, the slavey at his boarding house, ho is afraid of them all. One day, however, an adventure comes into his life.. A beautiful lady in a limousine nearly runs over a child, which is gallantly rescued by Tootles. The beautiful lady thanks him very graciously and invites him into the car, insisting on bringing him to his destination. TUESDAY. "Girl of the Music Hall" The opera which Fane considers his masterpiece turns out to be a flat failure. The man loses all interest in life. In an effort to divert Fane's thoughts from the subject, some friends compel him to accompany them on a slumming trip. The party visits an East Side music hall. The place is nothing more than a dive and Fane takes no interest in what passes until Ida, one of the singers, appears to do her "turn." To the composer's surprise the girl has a marvelous voice. Fane meets Ida later in the evening. His interest in her dies when he finds the girl uneducated and ignorant. Fane's indifference piques Ida and she watches him when he leaves the place. Her interest in Fane arouses the jealousy of Hagan, the "bouncer." In the quarrel which ensues, the man attempts to strike her. The following day, Ida appears before Fane and begs him to help her. In spite of himself, the girl Interests the composer and he takes her in hand. While Fane undertakes her vocal training, Ida supports herself by securing a position in the chorus of a musical comedy company.

MONDAY. "Stain of Dishonor." Paul Greer proposes to Bess, Colonel Lane's daughter, and is rejected. The same night, while the ball still is in progress, Frank Barton asks Bess the same question. She consents to become his wife. Grr?r is consumed with jealous anger. About midnight several shots ring out. The colonel and his guests rush to the library. The table in which Lane keeps certain secret plans, has been rifled, and Barton is found in the room. He is searched. Then the colonel notices on the blotter an imprint of an inky hand. Barton sees Greer slipping toward the door. He rushes forward and seizes him. Greer's left hand is stained with ink. In his pocket they find the plans for the coast defense.
TUESDAY. "Handicap of Beauty." Mary Rush, a stenographer, is so pretty that she is obliged constantly to change her position because all her employers fall in love with her. Going to apply at the office of a young lawyer, she determines to disguise herself. She combs her hair straight back, puts on spectacles and a severely plain dress and gets the job. One evening, after the lawyer has' left, Mary, who has brought a suit case to the office, changes her old maid make-up for her prettiest clothes. Her employer returns and is smitten with the girl. Next day he begs permission to call. He finds Mary at home In her soberest rags. Little sister is out. Then the phone rings and they learn that Frances is about to marry the man of her choice. Determined to stop the ceremony Marry hurries into a very becoming hat and coat and her employer calls a taxi. When she takes off her spectacles he recognizes the girl who has fascinated him the evening before. In the taxi the lawyer loses no time in getting to the point.
text book. Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. To correct these erroneous impressions, and explain the teaching of Christian Science correctly, a board of lectureship of the Mother church in Boston, Mass., was established. The local branch, First Church of Christ, Scientist, has arranged for one of these lectures to be given by Clarence W. Chadwick, C. S. B., of Omaha, Neb., at the Gennett theatre on Tuesday evening at 8 o'clock. The lecture is free, no collection is taken up, and the public is cordially invited to attend.
WEDNESDAY. "Fashion and Simple Life." Nell loses her sylphlike figure and with it her job as a model in a New York establishment. A certain salesman, Ned Warren, has paid her many attentions, but believing that he is in love with her fashionable appearance only,
