NEW PARIS LUMBER COMPANY TO ERECT STOCK WAREROOM Second Store Room in Last Six Weeks Ordered by Hustling Company in Preble County. NEW PARIS. O., April 14. A warehouse, 52x70 feet is being erected at the New Paris Lumber company's yards to care for the increasing business as well as better, to protect the stock. This is the second wareroom the company has erected in the last six weeks. Work on repairing Earl Stegall's residence is going forward nicely and the family expects to move back this week. Mr. Stegall's house was recently damaged by fire, the second story being burned completely off and much damage done the first. Wallace Jones has bought a new touring car. Mr. and Mrs. Everett Daugherty and family of Richmond spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. John Raugherty. Mr. and Mrs. George W. Richards spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Richard Danily and famiy. Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Canny and son Leo returned home Sunday evening after spending the week end with relatives in Dayton. Miss Carrie Whitaker and Superintendent B. S. Davis attended the county spelling match at Eaton Saturday. Works as Assessor. A. A. McNeill Is employed at employed at his old position as assessor, having been in the country the past week, getting data. Miss Lorena Miller and Evelyn Northrop spent the week end with Mlwa Marie Fitzwater. William Glenn has returned from a vacation trip to points in northern Ohio. Mesdames Patrick Cronin of Xenia and Thomas Maloney of West Manchester spent Monday with local relatives and friends. John Dunn of Richmond called on local friends Monday. Mr. and Mrs. S. I. Horner and family removed Monday to their new home on Seventeenth street in Richmond. Miss Bernlce Horner, assistant at the postoffice has been assisted by Miss Faye Marshall. Mrs. Rebecca Louck h- . returned after a visit of several months with her brother at Indianapolis. Mrs. Charles Lehman of Richmond spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Lehman. Postmaster Visits Here. Frank Lashley, postmaster at Centerville, was the guest of Postmaster Charles H. Marshall Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Purviance have moved to their new home on Pearl street, which was recently remodeled and equipped with all modern necesW. E. Jones and daughter Mildred spent Saturday and Sunday with the former's father and brothers at Covington, o. Two fine boys have been added to the population of this locality, one Saturday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. O. R. Jordan, north of here, and Sunday morning one was left at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Black, who reside on Washington street. The latter received the name Robert Young Miss Clara Nossett of near New Madison was a Sunday guest of her aunt, Mrs. T. N. Barton. William A. Brown, commonly known as "Uncle Billy," suffered a bad attack Sunday and la in a serious condition. Mr. and Mrs. William Bryant will shortly remove to the Pet Wieland property from their present residence on Spring street. W. H. Marshall spent Sunday and Monday at Dayton, Columbus and Westervtlle. Emory Murray motored to Oxford, O., Saturday with the following party of school teachers: Misses Morna Newbern and Irene Timmons and E. H. Young and G. J. Noggle. Visits Relatives. Miss Hester Nelson was the guest of relatives at Milford Center, O., during the week end. Mrs. Emma Cohorst of Dayton spent Sunday with her mother, Mrs. Ella Cox. Mr. and Mrs. George Kessler spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Kessler. Miss Grace Samuels returned Sunday night from a week's visit with relatives and friends at Greenville.
