ECONOMY Mrs. Adelia Short, 85, died at the home of her son Edward Short near Economy April 1, after an illness of only a few days. She Is survived by the following children, Edward and Morgan, Economy, Mrs. Anna Staufer, Mrs. George Cotton, Richmond, Mrs. John Call, New Westvllle, Charles, Economy, Bert and Mrs. May Crowell, Campbellstown, Mrs. Viola Watt, New Paris, Mrs. Minnie Bergen, California. Besides the chil dren she is survived by twenty-nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Watt in New Paris. "Inter ment will be made in the New Paris cemetery. FALLS TO BASEMENT BREAKING ARM CAMBRIDGE CITY, Ind.. April 3 In descending . the steps leading to the basement at her home on Mulberry street Thursday, Mrs. Sarah Myers lost her footing when within two steps of the landing and fell, breaking her arm at the elbow. Accompanied by a local physician she was taken to the Reid hospital where the X-rays, were used to mom fully ascertain the extent of her injuries. ' JERGE CONCLUDES SPECIAL WORSHIP "MILTON. Ind, April 3 The services at the Christian church Thursday evening were of a very interesting nature. The Rev. Walter Jerge gave the sermon. He took for his theme, "The Farewell Sermon of Jesus to His Disciples." It was at the last supper and he told, them that He woufd leave them -for-a while, but He would return and then it would be expedient that He go away that the Comforter might come.
